DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis, 11th day of Shaw'waal. (Thursday, 12th of May, 2022). WHY CAN'T WE PRAY AT CERTAIN TIMES?. BismilLah.

The orders and prohibitions of Allah are based upon wisdom. Sometimes this wisdom is clear to us and at other times our mind can not realize or understand it.

In both cases, the Muslim has to fulfill the order of Allah and avoid His prohibition. This is what Islam requires. Islam is to submit to the Orders of Allah and abide by them.

As regards the answer about the prayers, it is as follows:

The prayers of Muslims are of two kinds: Obligatory prayers and supererogatory prayers. Allah has enjoined the obligatory prayers at fixed times. Allah Says (interpretation which means): "Verily, the prayer is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours" (An-Nisa 4:103).

Besides, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) illustrated the times during which these prayers should be performed, and the times of the supererogatory prayers as well as the times when prayers are forbidden to be performed. He also gave the reason why it is not allowed.

it was narrated in Saheeh al-Bukhaari (581) and Saheeh Muslim (831) that it is forbidden to pray after Fajr prayer until the sun has risen above the horizon to the height of a spear, at the time of noon when the sun is at its zenith, and after the time of ‘Asr until the sun is fully set. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) told us that the sun rises and sets between the two horns of a devil, at which time the kuffaar/Shayaateen prostrate to it.

Also Imam Muslim and Ahmed reported that Amr Ibn Anbasa said: "I said: "O, Prophet of Allah, inform me about the prayer? He replied: "Pray Fajr then refrain from praying until the sun rises high in the sky, as it rises between two horns of Satan; that is (the time)when the unbelievers prostrate to it. Then pray, as the prayer is witnessed, until the sun is at its meridian. After that stop praying, because at this time the hellfire is at its maximum heat. When the sun goes beyond the meridian pray, as the prayer is witnessed, until you pray Asr. When you pray Asr, you should stop praying until the sun sets, as it sets between two horns of Satan; that is when the unbelievers prostrate to it."

So this Hadiths mentions all the times of the prohibitions of the supererogatory prayers and the wisdom behind that, when the sun rises and when the sun sets. Modern Technologies had helped us recognised the timings in real-time which most Masjids displays as salaat set in times and forbidding times on the masjid salaat time table in each towns and cities of the world which a muslims must be check to ensure you are offering your salaat at the right times. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...

BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
