RULING ON COMBINING TWO SALAAT AT A TIME. BismilLahir.

Studies of the Quran, Sunnah and Consensus of Scholars has shown that it is permissible to combine ONLY two salaat at a time. These two are Zuhur/Asr and Magrib/Isha.  Meaning you cannot combine asr and magrib etc.

It is permissible for the person who is travelling to combine two prayers if it will be too difficult for him to perform the second prayer on time or if the travelling time is before zuhur then you can make your intention to add zuhur to asr during asr time or when you get to your destination before asr time ends especially those travelling in commercialtransport and it stops for say 15 minutes rest. Note that we cannot pray ANY salaat before the time for such salaat. If you intend to travel before zuhur, you cannot pray zuhur before zuhur time but can delay zuhur and combine it with Asr at asr time. Similarly if you are working and you notice you can pray zuhur on time at your break time but will not be able to pray asr at asr time then you can make up your mind to add Asr to zuhur but our work is not a legitimate reason to delay except those in a situations such as doctors/nurses in operation or attending to urgent patients etc.

You can do similarly to magrib and Isha whenever you face any difficulties such as rain about to fall after magrib in masjid and you fear it may rain till after isha time then the imam can decide to add ishai after magrib etc.

But let's note that the rewards for praying on time is far more than combining so let's not just combine unnecessarily. ALLAH knows our intentions and difficulties and will reward us according to the intentions and reasons. You can ask any questions but please allow me some time to respond as I can be busy most times. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences in our acts of worship. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
