DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 3rd day of Rabeeul Awwal (Thursday 31st October, 2019). RECITE IT REGULARLY, LISTEN TO IT REGULARLY AND PONDER TO ITS MEANING. BismilLah.
Qur'an is the direct speech of ALLAH, The Creator of all that exist. It was revealed for us to recite it, listen to it and follow its teachings. Those who neglect it will fall into the traps of sheitan.
It is proven in the saheeh Sunnah that the Qur’an will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection. Swaheeh Muslim (804) narrated that Abu Umaamah al-Baahili said: I heard the Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) say: “Recite the Qur’aan, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.”
Just as the Qur’an will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection, it will also testify against those who went against it by neglecting it, ignoring its obligations and transgressing against the limits it set.
Swaheeh Muslim (223) narrated that Abu Maalik al-Ash‘ari said: The Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “The Qur’aan is evidence for you or against you.”
Let's study the Quran, be consistent in reciting and listening to it and ponder on its meaning. Let's strive to memorize as much as we can and strive to understand what we recite hoping for it to intercede for us on judgement day in shaa ALLAH. May ALLAH, AL-WADUUD (The Most Loving) keep guiding us all and increase us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
