THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Sabt, 20th Jumaadal Awwal 1440, (Saturday, 26th January, 2019). GETTING TO KNOW ALLAH WELL AS MUSLIMS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Do you want to know ALLAH? Do you strive to obey ALLAH? Do you yearn to please ALLAH? Do you consider and ask yourself these questions daily? Do we reflect on who Almighty ALLAH is in our prayers? Do we understand the power of ALLAH when we stand before HIM? Do we actually fear ALLAH that HE can end our life today, inflict us with illness etc because of our disobedience or as trial to our claim to be conscious of HIM? Do you also know ALLAH is more merciful than our own mothers upon us to forgive our sins if we repent sincerely?. If it’s not ALLAH whom you desire to please, if it’s not ALLAH whom you turn to, then where would you go to? Who would look after you and shelter you, aid you and protect you other than ALLAH? You were created in this world for a purpose, for a reason, and that is to know ALLAH. Do we not exist in this world except to know ALLAH and to worship HIM? ALLAH in HIS glorious Quraan says, “And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship ME ALONE.” In order to worship ALLAH you must strive to become closer to HIM, know HIM. You must ponder the attributes of ALLAH in order to try to know HIM. In order to fear and love ALLAH, we are required to know HIM. Part of our worship is to know ALLAH. Whenever anything other than ALLAH is in our hearts, whenever any other than ALLAH is the ONE WHOM we love and submit to, then we invite corruption into our hearts and it leads to our destruction. Knowing that ALLAH is the cause of life for the individual is the second birth that every person who believes in ALLAH will experience. There is no doubt that knowing ALLAH is the greatest and noblest of knowledge. It is the Ilm, the beneficial knowledge we are encouraged to seek. When you learn about ALLAH, you are learning about the purpose of your existence. You are learning about living a life set on the right course. To know HIM then study HIS attributes, The 99 attributes are enough, study the Qur'an as a priority in life. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) aid us in our efforts to know HIM better and to act only to please HIM. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
