THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 4th day of Rabeeul Awwal 1440, (Sunday, 11th November, 2018) The Acceptance of Good Deeds in Islam. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Before a Muslim moves another step forward or performs any act or deed, he/she is obliged to acquire knowledge in the path that will lead him/her to the best end, that is, having his good deeds accepted by ALLAH (Al-Wadud, The Loving, The Kind One). It is important to note that what counts is not the number of good deeds or acts of worship performed, for there may be a person who performs many good deeds, yet, all what he gains is tiredness in this life and hardships in the hereafter. Don't finish the act before asking if it's haraam or halaal. The Messenger of ALLAH (Al-Ba’ith, The Raiser of The Dead) said, “There may be a Sa’im (fasting person) who only gains hunger from his Siyam (fast), and there may be a Qa’im (who stands up in prayer at night) who only gains Sahar (staying up late) from his Qiyam!” [Ibn Maajah]. Rather, what truly counts is knowing and implementing the conditions that will ensure Allah’s acceptance of the performed good deeds and various acts of worship. There are two essential conditions that must both be present in every performed good act or deed, so as to ensure their acceptance by ALLAH (Ash-Shaheed, The Witness). First, a Muslim must seek ALLAH (Al-Haqq, The Truth, The Real) alone in the good deeds that he performs. Second, this good deed must be in total accordance with what ALLAH (Al-Wakeel, The Trustee, The Dependable) has legislated in HIS Book and what HIS Messenger has commanded in his Sunnah. Whenever one of those two conditions is absent from any righteous act or deed, then this good deed or act is neither good nor accepted, for ALLAH (Al-Haadi, The Guide) said; “So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.”Al-Quran 18:110. In his Tafsir (explanation) of the Quran, ibn Kathir said, “these are the two conditions that ensure the acceptance of any righteous act: it must be performed for the sake of ALLAH (Al-Qawee, The Strong) alone and according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of ALLAH (Al-Hamid, The All Praiseworthy).” May ALLAH (Al-Muhyi, The Giver of Life) keep guiding us and forgive us our mistakes. Aameen.

DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th day of RAJAB (Saturday 29th of February, 2020). LETS BE MINDFUL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN LIFE. BismilLah. Let's remind  ourselves that ALLAH does not love stubborn rejectors of faith, committing sins, and showing ingratitude. ALLAH says: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ Verily, ALLAH does not love the unbelievers. Qur'an 3:32. Why? Bcs their disbelief in ALLAH and HIS Messenger only grant them the Hellfire. And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH does not love arrogance, pride, boasting to one another, extravagance, and exultation in wrongdoing. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36. These few are more than enough to aid us to fear these bad acts in our lives. We ask ALLAH to make us among those who are loved by HIM and who are...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
