FIRST REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 7th day of Zul-Qa'adah (20th July). Summary of Suurat Al-Kahf (Quran 18). I have been sharing this summary for many years now as a constant reminder, the wisdom behind reciting/studying this suurah each Friday. Lets read through and get motivated to study the suurah for our own benefit. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. This Suurat has 4 stories, 1. The People of the Cave which talk about trial of eemaan. 2. The Owner of the two gardens, which talk about trial of wealth and children. 3. Muusah (A.S) & Khidir (A.S), which is about trial of knowledge. And 4. Dhul Qarnayn, which talk about trial of authority. The first two deals with good companionship and knowing the reality of life which is calling to Allah. The 3rd and 4th point deals with humility and sincerity in remembering the hereafter. All these are the boats of success. The story of the believing young men who were living in a disbelieving country. They decided to leave their homes and run away with their religion and eemaan after a confrontation between them and their people. Allah rewarded them with the mercy of the cave and care of the sun for so many years. They wakeup to find their village were all believers. Allahu Akbar. There followed a story of the man who Allah had blessed, but he forgot the one who had blessed him, transgressed and had doubts in his faith. He didn't give thanks for the blessings, even though his friend reminded him. Destruction of the crops and harvest and regrets after it was too late. In approximately the middlenof the Suurat comes the story of iblees satan, the one who pulls the strings of fitnah. That's around Aayah 50. When Muusah Alayhi salaam was asked by ALLAH, "who is the most knowledgeable person on the earth? He said me" I can understand his point been the prophet and messenger of Allah at that time but then Allah revealed to him that there was someone more knowledgeable than him, Muusah A.S travelled to meet Him in order to learn from him how sometimes we do not understand Allah's Wisdom but He is invariably Wise. I think we all know what happened in his journey with the knowledgeable person (ie the ship, the boy and the wall). The story of the great king that joined both knowledge and strength and travelled to all parts of the earth, helping people and spreading goodness. He overcame the problem of gog and Magog by building a dam and was able to put to work the strength of a people who could hardly understand a word. Allahu Akbar. Please find tafsir books to read more about these beautiful storey. To be continued in shaa Allah in the second reminder. Please remember to recite this suurah today, perform your ghusul, send more salutations to the Prophet and go to jumuat early please. Please Remember me and my family in your dua. You can ask any questions but allow more time to response due to numerous questions I receive at a time. Whenever you don't receive any of my Reminders, please alert me to manually copy you in shaa ALLAH. May Allah increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.

And ALLAH says: وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ ALLAH does not love any ungrateful sinner. Quran 2:276. ALLAH says: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا Verily, ALLAH does not love those who are proud and boastful. Surah An-Nisa 4:36.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis. 25th day of RAJAB, 1444AH (Thursday 16th February. 2023). TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM. BismilLaah.  Tolerance (samah) is an important trait of a Muslim’s good character. We Muslims should be kind and gentle, patient with people, forgiving of bad character, and lenient whenever possible. The Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam commanded us to avoid causing unnecessary difficulty and hardship in people’s lives and to inspire people with graceful speech. Make things easy and do not make things difficult. Give glad tidings and do not repel people. Cooperate with each other and do not become divided. Sahih Bukhari 2873, Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi. This command is closely related to the need of a Muslim to control his or her anger. Unrestrained anger leads to numerous sins and bad deeds, so Muslims must temper their anger with patience, tolerance, and the ability to hold back harmful words. Teasing, mockery, insults to others et...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt. 17th day of Jumaadal Aakhir.. (Saturday 30th January 2021). A SERIOUS CONDITION TO FULFILL FOR ALLAH TO ANSWER OUR DUA. BismilLah Consuming haraam wealth is one of the major reason why du’aa’s are not answered. Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: the Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “O people, ALLAAH is Good and only accepts that which is good. ALLAAH commanded the pious to follow the same commandments as HE gave to the Messengers. HE says; ‘O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibaat [all kinds of Halaal (lawful) foods which ALLAAH has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits)] and do righteous deeds. Verily, I am Well-Acquainted with what you do’ [al-Mu’minoon 23:51]. ‘O you who believe (in the Oneness of ALLAAH, Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that I have provided you with’ [al-Baqarah 2:172]. Another important point is to rea...
