DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 6th day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Wednesday 1st of January, 2020). STRENGTH LIES IN UNITY AND WEAKNESS IN DIVISION. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's consider this moral story. A father had a family of sons who were perpetually quarreling among themselves. When he failed to heal their disputes by his exhortations, he determined to give them a practical illustration of the evils of disunion; and for this purpose he one day told them to bring him a bundle of sticks tied with twine, and said to his oldest son: "Break it in pieces." Oldest son tried and tried, but with all his strength, he could not break the bundle. The other sons also tried, but none of them was successful. "Untie the bundle," said the father, "and each of you take one stick." When they had done so, he said to them: "Now, try to break your stick." Each stick was easily broken. "You see my meaning," said their father. He then add...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 5th day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Tuesday 31st of December, 2019). QUESTION: As a Muslim convert smoker, fornicator etc, I find it difficult if not impossible to fast and stop these evil actions. I haven't been successful to fast a single day in my life. I need advice please. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. In response to this question, One of the purposes of the practice of fasting in Islam is to help us overcome our destructive habits and create positive and life-enhancing habits and thus prepare us to face the challenges of life. Therefore, if you were to fast and turn to ALLAH for help, you can beat your smoking and other bad habits. Many people have overcome such unhealthy habits through fasting; so many of them have quit smoking, fornication etc during the month of Ramadhan after having addicted to it for ten to twenty years or even more; they have never turned back. You can also do the same, but before doing that you must gather en...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 4th day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Monday 30th of December, 2019). HAVE YOU LOST HOPE IN ALLAH?. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There is this one sin that we keep falling in again and again…and again. We keep on repenting and seeking forgiveness but we fall into it again and again. You give up. You submit to doing more sins. You think you’re hopeless. You fill your heart and mind with dark/desperate/hopeless thoughts. You think you’re worthless. You drown in negativity and desperation. At the end, those with no or weak eemaan commit suicide. If you fall in these category of Muslims, then Stop This Now! Never buy into this! Never. The battle is not over. You didn’t lose. You have the power to come back stronger and more triumphant than you ever were. ALLAH’s Mercy and Forgiveness are there for You! Yes for you! The only loser is the one who whispers to you thoughts of hopelessness and desperation and that's sheitaan. If you are reading t...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 3rd day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Sunday 29th of December, 2019). SHOW OFF IS A SERIOUS CRIME FOR OUR EEMAAN. BismilLah. Shaddad ibne Aws (radi Allahu anhu) once began to cry. People asked why he was crying, so he replied, “It is something I heard from Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) which makes me weep when I remember it. Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: ‘I fear for my people Shirk (ascribing partners to ALLAH) and hidden desires.’ I asked: ‘O Rasulullah! Would your people be guilty of idolatry after your death?’ Rasulullah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: ‘Yes (but) they will not worship the sun, the moon, a stone or an idol; but they will act for display (without sincerity). Hidden desire is that one of them will start the day fasting, but when one of his desires will present itself to him; he will abandon his fast (and satisfy his desire).’” [Musnad Ahmed]. A man was offering his prayers in his house. He was praying...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 2nd day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Saturday 28th of December, 2019). THE PLEASURES OF PARADISE IN BRIEF. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. A glance at the nature of Paradise as described in the Quran and the saying of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). ALLAH says in the Quran: “And give good news (Oh Muhammad) to those who believe and do good deeds, that they will have gardens (Paradise) in which rivers flow....” (Quran 2:25). ALLAH says again: “Race one with another for forgiveness from your Lord and for Paradise, whose width is as the width of the heavens and the earth, which has been prepared for those who believe in ALLAH and HIS messengers....” (Quran 57:21). The Prophet Muhammad, may the mercy and blessings of ALLAH be upon him, told us that the lowest in rank among the dwellers of Paradise will have ten times the like of the pleasures of this world,  and he or she will have whatever he or she desires and ten times like it. ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 1st day of Jumaada Al-Awwal (Friday 27th of December, 2019). DANGERS OF OUR TV'S THIS WEEK IN PARTICULAR. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There is no doubt that this week is among the worse moments to watch Television bcs it is been bombarded with lies against ALLAH and HIS MESSENGER Issah Alaihi salaam. Let's learn what ALLAH says Angrily in Suuratul Maryam verse 90-91 that bcs the Christians saying that ALLAH has begotten a son, or whenever someone says ALLAH has a son, ALLAH become angry to the extend of allowing the mountains and the sky to crash us on this earth. This is how serious it is for what Chritmas is all about and some Muslims are ignorantly even offering gifts for thier kufur statements and some are wasting their time watching these shirk entertainment on TV and wishing them merry Christmas Astaghfirullah. Are we truly Muslims? Yes we can and should tolerate some things and be kind to Christians and other non Muslims but ...

Abu Sa'eed (R.A), who was one of the companions of our beloved messenger of ALLAH narrated that,  He heared from the prophet saying "Indeed anyone who fast for one day for ALLAH’s Pleasure, ALLAH will keep his or her face away from the hell fire for a distance covered by a journey of seventy years. Meaning ALLAH will not punish such a person in Hell. ALLAHU AKBAR. This can be traced in Sahih Bukhari Vol 4, book 52, Hadith 93. The Prophet also said "Our deeds are also shown/ taking to ALLAH on Monday's and Thursday's and said he prefer his deeds are taken to ALLAH whiles he is fasting as such fasted each Mondays and Thursdays so lets emulate his example bcs he is the best role model to follow.
