 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Al-khamis, 28th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Thursday, 31st October 2024). RULINGS ON IMITATING NON-MUSLIMS. BismilLah. As Muslims, we must study our religion properly and ensure whatever we do is within the teachings of ALLAH and HIS Messenger or Consensus of Scholars as the Prophet certified. Any other ways of life can weaken our faith, corrupt it and eventually invalidate our shahaadah that we hold that certifies us as Muslims that's why ALLAH warned us not to follow or listen to non-Muslims or else they will deviate us into their disbelief and in the next verse ALLAH warned us not to live a life other than the teachings of the prophet and then the next verse warned us not to die as non-Muslims which means, imitating non Muslims by ignoring the sunnah can lead us into disbelief (Study Qur'an 3 Vs 100 going for all the above).  Imitating others is something that happens to humans.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 25th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Monday, 28th October 2024). MAN WILL NOT BE BE LEFT NEGLECTED. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 75:36, أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَـنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى (Does man think that he will be left neglected). This means that he will not be left neglected in this worldly life without being commanded and prohibited. He also will not be left neglected in his grave unattended to without being resurrected. Rather he will be commanded and prohibited in this life and gathered back to ALLAH in the abode of the Hereafter. The intent here is to affirm the existence of the abode of the final return and to refute whoever rejects it from the people of deviance, ignorance, and stubbornness. BismilLah.  Let's continue with our reminder yesterday on this verse; ALLAH says in Qur'an 35:32 ثُمَّ أَوۡرَثۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَاۖ فَمِنۡهُمۡ ظَالِمٌ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ وَمِنۡهُم مُّقۡتَصِدٌ وَمِنۡهُمۡ سَابِقٌۢ بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَضۡلُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ  ALLAH caused to inherit the Book those ALLAH have chosen of HIS servants; and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of ALLAH.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 21st day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Thursday, 24th October 2024). THE STORY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE PROPHET LUT ALAIHI SALAAM. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Exalted states in the Qur’an 54:33-40 that the people of Lut defied and denied their Messenger and committed sodomy, the awful immoral sin that no people in the history of mankind had committed before. This is why ALLAH destroyed them with a type of torment that HE never inflicted upon any nation before them. ALLAH the Exalted commanded Jibril, peace be upon him, to raise their cities to the sky and then turn them upside down over them, followed by stones made of marked Sijjil. So ALLAH said: ﴾إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَـصِباً إِلاَّ آلَ لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَـهُم بِسَحَرٍ ﴿ (Verily, ALLAH sent against them Hasib (a violent storm of stones) except the family of Lut, them ALLAH saved in the last hour of the night.)  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 20th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Wednesday, 23rd October 2024). EVERYTHING PRAISES and GLORIFIES ALLAH BismilLah.  As Muslims, it's important to praise ALLAH regularly seeking HIS blessings and Mercy.  ALLAH says, يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ مَا فِى السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ (All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify HIM.) is similar to HIS other statement, تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ السَّمَـوَتُ السَّبْعُ وَالاٌّرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ وَإِن مِّن شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدَهِ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا (The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify HIM and there is not a thing but glorifies HIS praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, HE is Ever Forbearing, Oft--Forgiving.)(17:44).  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 18th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Monday, 21st October 2024). THE WISDOM BEHIND ALLAH DELAYING THE PUNISHMENT FOR OUR SINS. BismilLah.  Let's continue with the tafseer of what ALLAH said in Qur'an 35:45: ﴾وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ﴿ (And if ALLAH were to punish men for that which they earned, HE would not leave a moving creature on the surface of the earth;) meaning, if HE were to punish them for all of their sins, HE would destroy all the people of the earth and all that they own of livestock and crops. Sa`id bin Jubayr and As-Suddi commented on the Ayah:﴾مَا تَرَكَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ﴿ (HE would not leave a moving creature on the surface of the earth;) "This means HE would have stopped sending rain to them, and all the animals would have died as a result."﴾وَلكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى﴿ (but HE gives them respite to an appointed term,) ...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 17th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Sunday, 20th October 2024). ALLAH says in Qur'an 35:45, وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهۡرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۢا  And if ALLAH were to impose blame on the people for what they have earned, HE would not leave upon it [i.e., the earth] any creature. But HE defers them for a specified term. And when their time comes, then indeed ALLAH has ever been, of HIS servants, Seeing. ALLAH says: `say, O Muhammad, to these people who disbelieve the Message you have brought: travel in the land and see what was the punishment of those who disbelieved the Messengers, how ALLAH destroyed them completely, and a similar end awaits the disbelievers.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 16th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Saturday, 19th October 2024). NEVER LOSE HOPE IN ALLAH DURING DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE ALLAH says in Qur'an 41:51 to the nearest meaning that, When HE bestow favour upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication. So you see the blessings in disguise when we face trials and difficulties? ALLAH tells us that man never gets bored of asking his LORD for good things, such as wealth, physical health, etc., but if evil touches him, i.e., trials and difficulties or poverty then he gives up all hope and is lost in despair, i.e., he thinks that he will never experience anything good again. ALLAH  says ﴾وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَـهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا مِن بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَـذَا لِى﴿ (And truly, if ALLAH gives him a taste of mercy, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say: "This is due to my (merit)...") means, if so...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul Jumuat, 15th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Friday, 18th October 2024). RECONCILIATION  IS A KEY TO SUCCESS. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this blessed day of the week. May ALLAH accept it from us all.  As the saying goes, ''Unity is Strength'' but unfortunately we have reduced Islam to rituals, tribalism, nationalism and forgotten other important pillars. While it is crucial to practice the five pillars of Islam, for instance, we can not ignore other basic aspects of the faith that emphasize brotherhood and sisterhood. Muslim unity is a Fard (obligatory duty) according to the Quran and Traditions of the Prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him).  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-khamis, 14th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Thursday, 17th October 2024). Effects of Zina (Fornication, Adultery) before marriage. BismilLah. Zina (either illicit fornication for those never-before-married, or adultery for those who have been married) is one of the gravest sins a Muslim can commit, after ascribing partners with ALLAH, murder, and disobedience to one’s parents. In the Qur’an, right after the prohibition of killing one’s children, ALLAH Most High says: “And do not even go close to Zina! Truly, it is a gross obscenity and an evil path (to go down).” [al-Quran, 17:32]. This verse is not just about prohibiting the act of zina itself, rather, we are told not to even go near it through anything that may lead or invite to it.  Pre-marital contact of an unrelated man and woman for unnecessary reasons is not allowed in Islam, even if marriage is the eventual goal.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 13th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Wednesday, 16th October 2024). JUDGEMENT DAY IS A FACT. BismilLah.  Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullah. My apologies for not reminding you all yesterday about the three white days fasting each month, which starts today. You can make up your mind to fast if you've not eaten yet. ALLAH says in Qur'an 21:47: وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَزِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَـمَةِ فَلاَ تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئاً وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَى بِنَا حَـسِبِينَ (And ALLAH shall set up Balances of Justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, ALLAH will bring it. Sufficient is ALLAH to take account.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm athalaatha, 12th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Tuesday, 15th October 2024). THE BLAST OF THE TRUMPET, THE JUDGEMENT, AND THE RECOMPENSE. BismilLah.  From the tafseer of Qu’ran 39:70 going, ALLAH tells us about the terrors of the Day of Judgement, with its mighty signs and terrifying upheaval. وَنُفِخَ فِى الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى السَّمَـوَتِ وَمَن فِى الاٌّرْضِ إِلاَّ مَن شَآءَ اللَّهُ (And the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will swoon away, except him whom ALLAH wills.) This will be the second trumpet-blast, which will cause people to die. By this trumpet-blast, everyone who is alive in the heavens and on earth will be caused to die, except for him whom ALLAH wills. Then the souls of the remaining creatures will be taken, until the last one to die will be the Angel of Death, and there will be left only the Ever Living, Eternal One, Who was there in the beginning and will be at the end, fore...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm al-ithnayn, 11th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Monday, 14th October 2024). ALLAH ALONE DESERVES OUR WORSHIP BECAUSE HE ALONE CREATED US. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 36:60-61 أَلَمۡ أَعۡهَدۡ إِلَيۡكُمۡ يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ  Did I not command you, O Children of Aadam, that you should not worship Shaytan, Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. (This is a rebuke from ALLAH to the disbelievers among the sons of Aadam, those who are disobeying ALLAH and worshipping HIS creation and Messengers such as the worshipers of Jesus Christ alaihi salaam).  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawmul ahad, 10th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Sunday, 13th October 2024). Morals and Manners in Islam. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever believes in ALLAH and the last day, then let him say a word that is good or be silent.”  Our beloved Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “From the goodness of a person’s Islam is that he leaves off that which does not concern him.” Also, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said to the one who sought advice from him: “Do not become angry!” Likewise, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “None of you (truly) believes until he loves for his brother, what he loves for himself.” Hence, these four narrations are all from forty hadeeth of the narrations regarding morals and manners, collected by Imam An-Nawawee (May ALLAH be pleased with him).  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm As-sabt, 9th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Saturday, 12th October 2024). HOW TO DEFEAT satan FROM his TRAPS. BismilLah. Seeking Help with ALLAH. To ask ALLAH for HIS protection and to rely on HIM alone for help is a tool in defeating Satan. Surah Al-Falaq and An-Nas of the Qu’ran may be used to regularly seek protection from Satan, and we should recite them. There are lots of dua to protect ourselves too that we must learn and use  regularly. We must realise that as long as we are alive, Satan will never give up attempting to mislead us.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yawm Arba'a, 6th day of Rabeeu ath-thaani, 1446AH (Wednesday, 9th October 2024). PURIFICATIONS OF OUR HEARTS. BismilLah  One of the most beautiful, most soothing, and most heartwarming moments you could have is when you realize how much ALLAH, The Most High, is protecting and taking care of your own heart. This is so much felt in Qur’anic verses where ALLAH (Al-Muqeet, The Nourisher) is telling us how HE wants us to speak to one another…Like here for an example: ” ... And speak to people good [words] …” (Qur’an 2: 83). The Arabic Aayah actually refers to good words as “husna” which also means beautiful. So ALLAH is instructing us to use not only good but beautiful words with people. As for the refutations which emanate from the ignorant and students like us who are not well-versed, or the refutations that emanate from desires and [particular] inclinations, then these refutations are not allowed because they harm and do not benefit.
