 THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 3rd day of Muharram 1444AH. (Monday, 1st of August 2022). HOW DANGEROUS IS OUR TONGUE? BismilLah.  Imam Ahmad may ALLAH be pleased with him mentioned an authentic Hadith in which the Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) reported to have said: “A man may be so close to Paradise such that the distance between him and paradise is o­ne derah (an arms length) and he speaks a word and he becomes distant from it further than between East and West” Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger (sallahu alaihi wa salaam) said:“From the good Islam of a man is that he leaves that which does not benefit him.” [Ahmad (4/132) – Tirmidhi, kitab az-zuhd, (7/51). ‘Abullah ibn ‘Amr (radi Allahu anhu) said that the Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) said: “Whoever keeps silent is saved.” [Sahih – narrated by Ahmad (2/159 – 177).  May ALLAH protect our tongue 👅 from any backbiting and slandering.  THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 2nd day of Muharram 1444AH. (Sunday, 31st of July 2022). THE GATES OF GOODNESS. BismilLah.  Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ALLAH'S Messenger ) said to him: "May I show you the gates of goodness? (They are): (1) Fasting is a screen from Hell. (2) As-Sadaqah (deeds of charity in ALLAH'S Cause) extinguishes (removes) the sins, as the water extinguishes the fire. (3) Standing in Salat (performing of prayers) by a person during the middle (or the last third) part of a night." Then the Prophet (sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam) recited: "Their sides forsake their beds." (QURAN 32:16) (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi) (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi). Search for the tafseer of this beautiful verse.  May ALLAH, AL-GHAFOOR (The Forgiving, The Exceedingly Forgiving) aid us to be able to be steadfast in Fasting, given sadaqah and praying at night.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum As-Sabt, 1st day of Muharram,1444AH (Saturday, 30th July 2022). MUHARRAM IS A BLESSED MONTH TO INCREASE GOOD DEEDS AND AVOIDING BAD DEEDS. BismilLah.  ALLAH'S sacred month of Muharram is a blessed and important month. It is the first month of the Hijri calendar and is one of the four sacred months concerning which ALLAH says; "Verily, the number of months with ALLAH is twelve months (in a year), so it was ordained by ALLAH on the Day when HE created the heavens and the earth; of them, four are sacred. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein … "Al-Qur'an 9:36. The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "The year is twelve months of which four are sacred, the three consecutive months of Dhul-Qa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab Mudar which comes between Jumadah and Sha'aban."  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 30th day of Dhul Hijjah,1443AH (Friday, 29th July 2022). SATAN'S PLOT ON US AND OUR WEAPON AGAINST HIM. BismilLah.  Satan strives hard to seduce humans to make us fall into evil and sin. If a person escapes from the snares of Satan, and satan sees that we have turned to ALLAH, he starts to cast doubts into our heart regarding the sincerity of our Tawbah(Repentance) and magnify our sins in our eyes, making us think that ALLAH will not forgive such sins, because they are too many and too grave. If Satan does not find response, he starts to remind people of their past sins and misdeeds to make us feel sad. ALLAH (Exalted be HE) says: Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Shaitân (Satan), in order that he may cause grief to the believers. BismilLah.  ALLAH, the Most High, says: “One Day shall you see the believing men and the believing women, how their LIGHT RUNS FORWARD BEFORE THEM and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): “Good News for you this Day, gardens beneath which flow rivers, to dwell therein for forever. This is indeed the highest Achievement” [Al Qur’an 57:12]. On the Day of Judgement it will be dark and we will be asked to cross over a bridge that is thinner than hair and sharper than a razor blade, and there will be no light, so it will be impossible unless we’re given light by ALLAH.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 27th day of Dhul Hijjah (Tuedday, 26th July 2022). ARE YOU AN ENEMY TO YOURSELF AND ISLAM. BismilLaah. One of The biggest enemies of Islam is the ignorant Muslim whose ignorance leads him/her to intolerance, whose actions distroy the true image of Islam and when the people look at him/her they think that Islam is what he/she is. ALLAH says  O Muhammad, "Shall I inform you of the greatest losers as to their deeds?" "They are those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work or deeds." (Al-Kahf 18:103--104)" Islam is a complete ways of life. Let's learn those ways from the Qur'an and Sunnah and act purely to please ALLAH.  May ALLAH (Al-Hayyu, Al-Qayyuum, The Living, The Maintainer of Life) grant us the true meaning of Islam and help us to worship and live our ways of life upon it.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum al-ithnayn, 26th day of Dhul Hijjah (Monday, 25th July 2022). ALLAH IS  OUR PROTECTIVE FRIEND, OUR WALI. BismilLah.  We have different categories of friends. Some friends are fun to hang out with, but that is pretty much it; you cannot exactly rely on them. Other friends are there for you but don’t always give you the best advice. But there are some friends, or that one friend, that truly has your back. The friend you would call to bail you out, because you have no doubt that they will, no matter how much trouble you are in. This friend is actually protective of you, such friend is constantly reminding you of ALLAH, Jannah. Jahannam etc. Think for a moment: do you have a friend like that? BismilLah.  ALLAH the Most high, says, “Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.”[Al Qur’an 16:97] The believers have a very good life, don’t be fooled by what you see. For sometimes what you see is not how it is. Sometimes you can see a wealthy disbeliever who has the world in his hands, but you can’t see what is going on in the inside, and he doesn’t know what the believers are feeling because he has never felt it.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum As-Sabt, 24th day of Dhul Hijjah (Saturday, 23rd July 2022).  HAPPY MARRIAGE, LIVING WITH PEACE & HARMONY AT HOME. BismilLah.  ALLAAH says in the holy Quran;  “And among HIS Signs is this, that HE created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find tranquility in them, and HE has put between you affection and MERCY.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaumul Jumuat, 23rd day of Dhul Hijjah (Friday, 22nd July 2022).  HOW TO REPAIR OUR WEAK RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CREATOR. BismilLah.  The most effective way is to learn or study the Qur'an. Recite it regularly and ponder on the meanings. Tranquillity then descends, and our hearts become soft and re-establish its connection to it Creator. To get optimum benefits, remind yourself that ALLAH is speaking to you in the Quran. People are described in different categories in the Quran; think of which one you find yourself in. If you can't recite or understand the Quran, please  start learning how to recite it. You should also try listening to tafseer regularly to know what your creator wants from you and for you.  Realize the greatness of ALLAH.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 21st day of Dhul Hijjah (Wednesday, 20th July 2022).  DOES A WIFE WHO IS EMPLOYED HAVE TO PAY/SHARE THE HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES?. BismilLah.  This is a sensitive question to our modern marriages especially those of us living abroad. I will try to cover this topic base on Qur'an, Sunnah and Consensus of Muslim scholars without been bias towards the husband or wife in shaa ALLAH but please bear with me on the length.  Husband and wife should come to some agreement concerning this issue  and avoid any dispute concerning it.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 20th day of Dhul Hijjah (Tuesday, 19th July 2022).  CAN I OBEY ALLAH AND FOLLOW ONLY THE QUR'AN TO PARADISE?. BismilLah.  A non Muslim and even some Muslims  do ask if they can go to paradise without following the sunnah or teachings of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam? Let's note that obeying ALLAH is without doubt, obligatory. So when ALLAH says: “Whosoever obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed ALLAH ” (Surah An-Nisa 4:80), it should be clear that one has obeyed ALLAH by obeying the Messenger.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 19th day of Dhul Hijjah (Monday, 18th July 2022).  SOME WAYS TO BECOME A GOOD OR BETTER MUSLIM. Bismillaah As Muslims we must strive to become better Muslims all the time with some recommended acts by our Prophet Mohammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam such as Fasting voluntarily for the sake of ALLAH on Mondays and Thursdays,  3 middle days of each Islamic calendar.  Another way is to Make Muslim friends and avoid severing ties. We often recite Quran 42:11 “There is nothing like unto HIM, and HE is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer”. How do we implement this simple and similar verses in our daily life? BismilLah.  Its a sad reality that some imams and individuals will just start making dua after the final Tasleem and ignore what the Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam thought us to do after salaat.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDER. Yaum Al-Khamis, 15th day of Dhul Hijjah (Thursday, 14th July 2022). SUSPICION, SPYING AND BACKBITING. BismilLah.  ALLAH says clearly in Qur'an 49:12 that if you claim to be a Muslim then  "Avoid suspicion; indeed suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Quran 49:12. This verse alone contains 3 major sins and each lead to one another. When you start suspecting it leads to spying which then leads to backbiting. In most cases especially in marriage all these 3 warnings comes when you start checking on your partners phone that's why it's forbidden.  Narrated Abu Huraira: ALLAH’S Apostle said, "Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales and don't look for the other's faults and don't spy and don't hate each other, and don't desert (cut your relations with) one another.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum Arba'a, 14th day of Dhul Hijjah (Wednesday, 13th July 2022). LET'S TEACH OUR CHILDREN SKILLS THAT LEAD TO EARNING ONLY HALAAL (legal) INCOME OR WEALTH. BismilLah.  Parents/individuals MUST spend their time, effort, and resources to help themselves or their children make the right choices for earning a halaal living. In doing so, parents should stress the need for their children to pursue career paths that can provide them solely with Halal (legal) living not just choosing any career path just to earn admission even if such path leads to haraam sustenance such as banking finance etc especially in non Islamic countries. Islam places enormous emphasis on this subject and these teachings are clearly stated both in the Quran and hadith.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 13th day of Dhul Hijjah (Tuesday, 12th July 2022). WHAT IS HIDDEN UNDER THE TONGUE IS A KEY TO PARADISE AS MUSLIMS. BismilLah.  Our Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Much silence and a good disposition, there are no two things better than these.” [Authenticated by Imam Al-Bukhari]. “Every man/woman is hidden under his/her own tongue.” The tongue reveals inner beauty as well as inner vileness. Therefore, the safety of a man/woman lies in holding his tongue. Do not judge or marry through the beauty of the face but investigate his or her character especially his or her obedience to ALLAH not the beauty and the wealth.  May ALLAH protect us from any satanic influences. Nothing in life is worth fighting for aside striving to build our relationship with our CREATOR, ALLAH. Always remember that your best clothes is someone's rag, your account balance is someone's donation to my request to roof AlhudaMasjid, your girl friend/boy friend or fiance/fiancee' is someone's Ex. Every single prostitute you see in a hotel or on the street at night was at some point in time a virgin. So what is the squabble all about? Life is too short to feel bigger or better than anybody.  DAILY ISLAMIC  REMINDER. Yaumul Ahad, 11th day of Dhul Hijjah (Sunday, 10th July 2022). REWARDS, DEEDS and INTENTIONS. THE BEAUTY of ISLAM. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding us through these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah. May ALLAH accept it from us all. For those who managed to sacrifice we say Alhamdulillah and if you intended but couldn't sacrifice may ALLAH accept your intentions.   Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH peace and blessings be upon him, said that a person who intended to do a good deed, and didn’t do it, ALLAH (SWT) will write one good deed in their record, and if we actually do it, then ALLAH (SWT) will add 10 good deeds. That too is not the limit. The number may reach 700 times rewards and beyond subject to ALLAH’s will base on our intentions and sincerity.  SPECIAL EID DAY REMINDER. Yaum As-Sabt, 10th day of Dhul Hijjah (Saturday, 9th July 2022). *_SUNNAH WAY OF EIDUL ADHAR_*. EID MUBARAK TO YOU ALL. BismilLah.  The Prophet (Sallallaahu ‘Alayhi wa sallam) delivering a khutbah saying: “The first thing to be done on this day (first day of Eid-ul-Adha) is to pray; and after returning from the prayer we slaughter our sacrifices (in the name of ALLAH), and whoever does so, he has acted according to our sunnah.  (Kitaabul-‘Eidayn, Bukhari).    Eid-ul-Adhar is celebrated on the 10th through 12th day of Dhul Hijjah, the 12th month of the lunar calendar.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat/ ARAFAH, 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah. (Friday, 8th of July, 2022).  GOOD DEEDS ON THIS BLESSED DAY OF ARAFAH. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this day. It's my hope that all those who could fast are Fasting be-iznilLah. May ALLAH accept it from us all and forgive our past, present and future shortcomings.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a, 7th day of Dhul-Hijjah. (Wednesday, 6th of July, 2022). FASTING ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. BismilLah.  Just to remind all that we shouldn't single out Friday coming which is the day of Arafah for fasting without fasting on Thursday. Thursday is a sunnah day of fasting already and we are in dhul hijjah as such we should make it fard upon ourselves to fast on Thursday 8th July and Friday 9th July without singling out Friday Arafah day to fast.  We all know the importance of fasting on Arafah day so lets not miss out in fasting these 2 golden days coming. Those who are unable to fast especially our sisters in their monthly cycle should strive to be reviting more zikir, giving charity, supporting the family by cooking etc with intention to earn more rewards.  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. BismilLah.  Some of us only pray Taraaweeh in Ramadhan, and for the rest of the year we don’t come close to this Ibadah! Not even in these blessed first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah… This is a huge mistake!
