 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis, 1st day of Dhul-Hijjah. (Thursday, 30th of June, 2022). Some Virtues of Dhul Hijjah. BismilLah. AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of Dhul Hijjah. It's my hope that majority of us are fasting. Lets strive to fast as many as possible in these 9 days of Dhul Hijjah.  ALLAH (SWT) takes an Oath by the Ten Nights of Dhul-Hijjah: وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ - وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرٍ۬  I swear by the dawn, [89:1] and by the Ten Nights. 2. RasuululLah (Sallahu Alaihe Wassallam) declares the good deeds of 10 days of Dhul Hijjah to be most Superior: Narrated Ibn Abbas (R.A): The Prophet  said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijjah)." (Tirmidhi). Today is the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah so let's fast any number of days we can especially on Arafah day.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a, 30th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Wednesday, 29th of June, 2022). SERIOUS WARNING. BismilLah. One of the beauties of Islam is that it teaches everything that will improve and reform mankind, including how to remove impurities by cleaning oneself properly after urinating or defecating. But some people are very careless about this matter, and allow their clothes and bodies to become contaminated, thus causing their prayers to be invalidated. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that this is one of the causes for the punishment in the grave. Ibn 'Abbaas said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) passed by one of the gardens of Madeenah, and heard the sound of two men being punished in their graves. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "They are being punished, but they are not being punished for any major sin. One of them used not to clean himself properly after urinat...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 29th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Tuesday, 28th of June, 2022). LET'S BE MINDFUL OF THE LAST VERSE OF THE QUR'AN REVEALED TO MANKIND FROM THE CREATOR. BismilLah.  In Quran 2:281 ALLAH says; وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمًا تُرۡجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ  And have Taqwa (Fear or be mindful) for the Day when you shall be brought back to ALLAH. Then every person shall be paid what he or she earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. Sheikh An-Nasa'i and Sheikh Ad-Dahhak and Al-Awfi all recorded that Sheikh Ibn Abbas narrated that the above verse is the last verse of the Quran. Let's be mindful and ensure we remain steadfast in good deeds seeking the Pleasure of Meeting ALLAH.  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 28th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Monday, 27th of June, 2022). ARGUING IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  Arguments over issues in the religion of Islam should be avoided as much as possible. Disputing and debating theological, legal, or historical matters will often lead to the hardening of hearts, bad feelings, and even hatred. As such, the Prophet has warned us that the nations before us went astray due to their indulgence in argumentation. Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: *_No people go astray after being guided except that they indulge in arguments_*. Then the Prophet recited the verse_: *_They strike an example for you only to argue, rather, they are a quarrelsome people_*. (43:58). Sunan At-Tirmidhi 3253.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 27th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Sunday, 26th of June, 2022). ALHAMDULILLAH FOR HIS MERCY ON US. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Exalted be HIS Name, says; “ If ALLAH were to punish people (immediately) for what they have committed, HE would not have left a single living being on earth. But HE delays them for an appointed term. And when their time arrives, then surely ALLAH is All-Seeing of HIS Servants.” (Quran, 35:45). Every one of us commits sins, and if ALLAH were to punish us for them, we wouldn’t even survive a day on this Earth. It’s from the Mercy of ALLAH that HE doesn’t punish HIS servants straight away after they commit sins. HE gives us respite so that we can repent and change for the better. After that, when the appointed term comes, the time for death, “then surely ALLAH is All-Seeing of HIS Servants”. Before this happens, try to return to your Lord and ask HIM for forgiveness. BismilLah.  As Muslims, we must always remember that ALLAH is the source of our wealth, income, sustenance etc. Also remember that one day you will die and the job will be useless to you or your family if ALLAH was not pleased with you. We were created to worship ALLAH and NOTHING should stop or even delay us worshipping our CREATOR.  ALLAH says in the Qur'an; “And whosoever fears ALLAH and keeps his duty to HIM, HE will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). BismilLah.  Earning ALLAH’s pleasure; When we are preoccupied with the wrongs others have committed against us, we lose focus of one of the most beautiful ways to get closer to ALLAH. The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There was a merchant who used to extend credit to people. If he found one of his customers to be in difficulties he would say to his assistants: “Forgive them their debt, perhaps ALLAH will forgive us.” ALLAH did forgive him.” [Bukhari/Muslim].  There is a direct correlation between the ways we treat others and how ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) treats us. BismilLah.  ALLAH Says in Qur’an 2:3 ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ  Believers are those "Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them. Al-Ghaib: literally means a thing not seen. But this word includes vast meanings: Belief in ALLAH, Angels, Holy Books, ALLAH'S Messengers, Day of Resurrection and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments).  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Arba'a, 23rd day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Wednesday, 22nd of June, 2022). THE BEAUTY OF BROTHERHOOD IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  Brotherhood in Islam is a comprehensive concept that is based upon good character with others, treating others the way we want to be treated, and uniting together upon common values.  ALLAH says: إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between yourselves and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Quran 49:10. Brothers here mean a faith-based community that includes both men and women as brothers and sisters in religion. ALLAH says: The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give charity and obey ALLAH and HIS Messenger.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 22nd day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Tuesday, 21st of June, 2022). CHARITY LEADS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH LEADS TO PARADISE. Bismillah.  IN Qur'an 3:92, ALLAH says; لَن تَنَالُواْ ٱلۡبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَىۡءٍ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌ  By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (Spending from the Best of One's Wealth) in reference to attaining Paradise, unless you spend of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, ALLAH knows it well.  Imam Ahmad reported that Anas bin Malik said, "Abu Talhah had more property than any other among the Ansar in Al-Madinah, and the most beloved of his property to him was Bayruha' garden, which was in front of the (Messenger's) Masjid.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 21st day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Monday, 20th of June, 2022). LET’S STRIVE TO BE AMONG THE 7 CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE TO BE SHADED BY ALLAH ON JUDGEMENT DAY. BismilLah.  It was reported from Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said:  “There are seven whom ALLAH will shade with HIS shade on the day when there will be no shade except HIS: the just ruler; a young man who grows up worshipping his Lord; a man whose heart is attached to the mosque; two men who love one another for the sake of ALLAH and meet and part on that basis; a man who is called by a woman of rank and beauty for immorality says ‘I fear ALLAH ’; a man who gives in charity and conceals it to such an extent that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives; and a man who remembers ALLAH when he is alone, and his eyes fill up with tears.” (Agreed upon, narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 620; Muslim, no...

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad, 20th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Sunday, 19th of June, 2022). LET'S BE MINDFUL OF THIS VERSE. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Quran: وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمًا تُرۡجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ  Fear the day when you shall be returned to ALLAH, then each soul shall be paid what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged. Al-Baqarah 2:281. ALLAHU AKBAR.  Whatever you do please pause and remember this verse. We must always remember death can come to us any day, anytime and at any place. Let's not risk our chance of entering by dying committing sins.  MAY ALLAH grant us a good ending and take our soul only when HE is pleased with us. Aameen.

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt, 19th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Saturday, 18th of June, 2022) WHEN ALLAH DECIDE WHO ELSE CAN DECIDE OTHERWISE. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Quran to the nearest meaning; To ALLAH belongs the dominion of the hevens and the earth; HE creates what HE wills. HE gives to whom HE wills female [children], and HE gives to whom HE wills males. Or gives in mix of males and females, and HE renders whom HE wills barren. Indeed, HE is Knowing and Competent. Ash-Shura 42:49/50. So people are divided into four categories when it comes to blessings with children: some are given daughters, some are given sons, some are given both sons and daughters, and some are not given either sons or daughters, but they are rendered barren, with no offspring.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 18th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Friday, 17th of June, 2022) TRUE SERVANTS OF ALLAH HAS A UNIQUE ATTRIBUTE. BismilLah. ALLAH says in the Quran, And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace. Al-Furqan 25:63 ALLAH is telling us the attributes of the believing servants of HIM, those who walk on the earth "Hawna," meaning that they walk with dignity and humility, not with arrogance and pride. This is like the Aayah: وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى الاٌّرْضِ مَرَحًا And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance... (17:37). So, these people do not live on earth with arrogance or pride. This does not mean that they should walk like sick people, making a show of their humility.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 16th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Wednesday, 15th of June, 2022). IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE PARADISE EXIST, FEAR HELL AND DON'T GAMBLE WITH YOUR LIFE. BismilLah.  ALLAH, Exalted be HIS Name, says: “ Indeed, those who disbelieve – if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of the Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment.” (Quran 5:36) Hellfire is real and it is the most terrible punishment ever. Throughout the whole Quran, ALLAH warns us all from it. In this verse ALLAH shows that no ransom will ever be accepted to get out from Hellfire. Imagine people who enter it, will wish to give everything to ransom themselves from it. But that will not be possible. It will be too late.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 15th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Tuesday, 14th of June, 2022). INVESTMENT WITH ALLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Qur'an 57:11, مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقۡرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥ وَلَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ كَرِيمٌ  Who is it that would loan ALLAH a goodly loan so HE will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward? Who is he that will lend ALLAH a handsome loan? Umar bin Al-Khattab said that this Ayah refers to spending in ALLAH'S cause. It was also said that it pertains to spending on children. What is correct is that it is more general than that. So all those who spend in the cause of ALLAH with good intentions and a sincere heart, then they fall under the generality of this Ayah.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 14th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Monday, 13th of June, 2022). INVITATION FROM ALLAH TO HIS ULTIMATE REWARD. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Most High says: “ And ALLAH invites you to the Home of Peace and guides whoever HE wills to the Straight Path.” (Quran, 10:25) ALLAH invites you to the Home of Peace, Daar al-Salaam. Do you know what Daar al-Salaam is? It is Paradise where there is ultimate peace. ALLAH invites you to enter it subhanaAllah. Imagine how privileged you are that ALLAH HIMSELF invites you to HIS Paradise. But sadly many says no to this Divine invitation through deeds, abandoning Salah, rejecting the only way to Paradise Islam.  May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any satanic influences. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad, 13th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Sunday, 12th of June, 2022). ALLAH’S MERCY IS BIGGER THAN OUR SINS, JUST REPENT AND BE REST ASSURED. BismilLah.  ALLAH the Most High says: “ Whoever commits evil or wrongs themselves then seeks Allah’s forgiveness will certainly find Allah All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 4:110) ALLAH gives us hope and shows us how Merciful HE is. Whatever you have committed of sins there is hope for you. On the condition that you do exactly what ALLAH stated in the verse. ALLAH is ready to forgive us for all of our sins, but the big question is: Are we ready to repent sincerely to ALLAH TODAY? Verily, ALLAH has given us a promise through this verse that we will always find HIM to be the All-Forgiving, The Most Merciful when we return to HIM. May ALLAH keeps guiding us all and protect us from any form of sins. Aameen.

 DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt, 12th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Saturday, 11th of June, 2022). ALLAH the Most High says: “ Whoever is spared the torment of that Day will have certainly been show ALLAH’s Mercy. And that is the absolute success.” (Quran, 7:16) Success is something that all people seek after. But the success most people are after is one that pertains to gain something from this world. In this verse ALLAH shows us the real success. The real success we must seek after and strive to achieve. This success is to be saved from the punishment of ALLAH in the Hereafter. Because the one who is saved from it will be given the good tidings of entrance in the eternal abode of Paradise. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 11th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Friday, 10th of June, 2022). STAY AWAY FROM BAD FRIENDS. BismilLah. Many of our brothers and sisters start practicing the deen and decide wholeheartedly to progress on the straight path. Yet, shortly after, they find themselves retracting instead of progressing. In many cases, this goes back to either being alone and not having righteous companions, or having the wrong companions. Both cases are very dangerous on one’s spiritual development. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had Sahaaba (companions). He actually didn’t need them and if ALLAH willed, HE could have supported him with countless number of Angels to aid him in whatever he needed as ALLAH did in the battle of Badr.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 10th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Thursday, 9th of June, 2022). SEEKING KNOWLEDGE IN ISLAAM continues. BismilLah.  Optional Knowledge (fardh kifayah) This is not a duty required of every individual, but rather it falls upon the community as a whole. Hence, if a group of individuals in the community undertake to acquire this kind of knowledge, all other individuals will be exempted from this duty, and the whole community will be free from responsibility or negligence to acquire this kind of knowledge. Examples of such knowledge include studying Islamic law and other basic sciences, industries and professions which are vital for the welfare of the society. Unlike obligatory knowledge, optional knowledge covers part of Islamic knowledge and all worldly knowledge.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 8th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Tuesday, 7th of June, 2022). BEDROOM SECRETS MUST BE PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL. BISMILLAH.  It is forbidden for either the husband or the wife to spread any of the secrets of their bedroom to anyone outside. The following two hadîth are about this: First:   "Verily among the worst people before ALLÂH on the Day of Judgement is a man who approaches his wife sexually and she responds and then he spreads her secrets." [Muslim, Ibn Abi Shaiba, Ahmad and others]. Second: "On the authority of Asmâ bint Yazid who narrated "that she was once in the presence of the Prophet and there were both men and women sitting.  DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 7th day of Dhul-QA^DAH. (Monday, 6th of June, 2022). DOES ISLAM TREAT MEN AND WOMEN EQUAL?. BismilLah.  Let's note that this word equality is a word which is based on deviation and a lack of understanding, especially when the speaker attributes this idea of equality to the Qur’an and to Islam.  One of the things that people misunderstand is when they say that “Islam is the religion of equality”. What they should say is that Islam is the religion of justice.  But if we say justice, which means giving each one that to which he or she is entitled, this misunderstanding no longer applies, and the word used is correct. Hence it does not say in the Qur’aan that ALLAAH enjoins equality, rather it says:  “Verily, ALLAAH enjoins Al‑‘Adl (i.e. justice)”al-Nahl 16:90].
