THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum al-ithnayn, 28th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Monday, 31st of January 2022). SOME WAYS SATAN USES TO DAMAGE OUR GOOD DEEDS. BismilLah.  Satan has so many ways to influence us to sin against our soul. Among them is to Instills feelings of pride and Ar-Riya (showing off). When one does good deeds, Satan is quick to instill feelings of pride followed by the desire to show off one’s virtues or achievements (also referred to as Ar-Riya). He diverts his victim’s mind from vying for the deed’s rewards from ALLAH to expecting praise to flow from people instead.  As Muslims, let’s not forget that the payoff that we desire for our deeds reflects the nature of the intention of doing those deeds. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (Peace be upon him) says: "The most fearful thing I fear for you is Minor Shirk". He (Peace be upon him) was asked about it, and he said: "It is (Ar-Riya’) showing off". Then, he (Peace be upon him) explained it saying, "A ma...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Ahad, 27th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Sunday, 30th of January 2022). ARE YOU WISER THAN AN ANT? THEN WHY WASTE YOUR TIME IN WORLDLY THINGS. Enjoy this eemaan booster. BismilLaah. One Sunday morning, a wealthy man sat in his balcony enjoying sunshine and his coffee when a little ant caught his eye which was going from one side to the other side of the balcony carrying a big leaf several times more than its size. The man watched it for more than an hour. He saw that the ant faced many impediments during its journey, paused, took a diversion and then continued towards destination. At one point the tiny creature came across a crack in the floor. It paused for a little while, analyzed and then laid the huge leaf over the crack, walked over the leaf, picked the leaf on the other side then continued its journey. The man was captivated by the cleverness of the ant, one of ALLAH'S tiniest creatures. The incident left the man in awe and forced him to contemp...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum As-Sabt, 26th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Saturday, 29th of January 2022). JINNS  ARE HARMLESS TO BELIEVERS WHO CARRY THEIR WEAPONS ALL THE TIME. BismilLah.  ALLAH says "and HE created the JINNS and HUMANKIND only to worship HIM" They were created before we humans so they are only jealous of us based on how we agreed to worship ALLAH but most of them decided to follow sheitan who is a jinn himself and their imam or leader.  Generally:- All of them are weak and they flee when they hear QUR'AN recitation except the good ones who are Muslims who hang around to listen to the Quran. Our WEAPONS against them are to be listening to Quran regularly, recite Quran regularly wherever you find yourself suitable, praise ALLAH regularly through azkaar and satan will forever fear you as they always did to Umar RadiAllahu Anhu and his colleagues,  the companions of the Prophet sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam.  Offcourse not all jinns are bad. ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaumul Jumuat, 25th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Friday, 28th of January 2022). ATTAINING JANNAT IS NOT CHEAP SO LETS STRIVE FOR IT. BismilLah Paradise is expensive merchandise, and al-Firdaws al-A‘la is the highest and best part of Paradise. No one reaches it except those whom ALLAH has singled out for more of HIS grace due to their efforts on earth to please HIM.  The people of al-Firdaws al-A‘alaa are the ones who hasten to do good as they are commanded. ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says; “And those foremost (in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,) will be foremost (in Paradise). These will be those nearest to ALLAH. In the Gardens of delight (Paradise)” [Quran 56:10-12].  Sheikh Ibn Katheer said:  Whoever competes in doing righteous deeds in this world and wins the contest, in the hereafter he will be among the first to attain reward and honour,...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS.  Yaum Al-Khamis, 24th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Thursday, 27th of January 2022). SINCERE CHARITY (Sadaqah) is a GUARANTEE INVESTMENT and INCREASES WEALTH. BismilLaah. ALLAH, the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "Who will loan to ALLAH a beautiful loan which ALLAH will double unto his/her credit and multiply it many times? 2:245. The above verse teaches us that by generously giving to the poor and needy, ALLAH will increase our wealth and blessings in this life, wipe out sins, increase rewards and provide shade on the Day of Judgment and more in shaa ALLAH. What more could we ask for? Money back, profit, good health, baraqah (blessings) in our wealth, shade on the Day of Judgement, sadaqah is definitely the best investment for our dunya and aakhira. Let's support expecially our relatives in need without  seeking any rewards from them or expecting them to reciprocate our kind gesture if you did it for ALLAH sake.  MAY ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Migh...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 23rd Jumaadal Aakhir. (Wednesday, 26th of January 2022). THE REALITY CHECK. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Qur'an as we all know that "Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection...(Qur'an 3:185) The awareness of death and its realities guides one to repent and seek forgiveness for sins consistently. It keeps us humble and in check. It brings with it an amount of wisdom that produces tranquility in the face of hardship, inner contentment with our provisions and blessings, and sweetness in performing acts of worship that go towards fulfilling our purpose in this life and keeping our priorities in order.   May ALLAH keeps guiding us and increase us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 22nd Jumaadal Aakhir. (Tuesday, 25th of January 2022). Some Recommended Sunnah Salaat to strive for. BismilLah. ALLAH’s Messenger (May peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A house will be built in Paradise for one who offers 12 Rak'aat in a day and evening as follows: 4 Rak'aat before and 2 after the Dhuhr Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib Prayer, 2 after the ‘Ishaa’ Prayer and 2 before the Fajr Prayer." Narrated by Imam at-Tirmizi under No. 380. He said: The Hadith narrated by ‘Anbasah quoting Umm Habibah in this chapter is a hassan and sahih hadith. It is under No. 6362 in Sahih al-Jaami’. The 4 rakaats before zuhur and asr has two tashahhud but one tasleem at the end.   The ‘Asr (Late-Afternoon) Prayer has no routine Sunnah (basic recommended voluntary prayer). However, it is mustahab (preferable and recommended) that one prays 4 Rak'aat before the ‘Asr Prayer. The 4 Rak'ahs are the ones intended by the Prophet...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 21st Jumaadal Aakhir. (Monday, 24th of January 2022). LCOVERING OUR OWN AND OTHERS FAULTS. BismilLah. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Everyone from my nation will be pardoned except those who sin in public. Among them is a man who commits an evil deed in the night which ALLAH has covered for him, then in the morning he says: O people, I have done this sin. His Lord had covered him during the night but in the morning he unveils what ALLAH has covered. Sahih Bukhari 5721. We've learned from the above that it's evil to let anyone know of our sins or others sins. We should cry to ALLAH to forgive us instead of boasting this is my girlfriend/ boyfriend and walking with them in public and some even displaying their haraam relation in public on Facebook or whatsapp display etc with excuse of planning marriage. ALLAH has warned not to forgive such peopl...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 20th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Sunday, 23rd of January 2022). FOUR (4) ACTIONS THAT LEADS TO SUCCESS Continues. BismilLah.  Let's continue from our reminder yesterday.  The third deed is Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness from ALLAH), and this too does not require us to spend of our life, wealth, or time. Whenever a person happens to commit a small or big sin, he should immediately feel remorseful about it and say Astaghfirullah, which means: “O ALLAH. I seek Your forgiveness.” Its a key to all doors in life. Regularly say Astaqfurallah and in shaa ALLAH it will help you a lot.    The fourth deed is Isti’aazah. Isti’aazah means to seek protection. Before we even begin to recite the Qur’an we recite A'uuzubillah minash sheitaanir rajeem which means “I seek ALLAH'S protection against the accursed and rejected Shaytan.” This action of ours is also Isti’azah because what we are essentially saying is, “O ALLAH! Take us within your prot...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 19th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Saturday, 22nd of January 2022). *_FOUR (4) ACTIONS THAT LEADS TO SUCCESS_*. BismilLah. The first deed is Shukr (Gratitude to ALLAH). Firstly, you need to make it a habit that every day when you get up in the morning and before you sleep at night you glance at yourself and your circumstances and then reflect on the spiritual and material Blessings that ALLAH has bestowed upon you, and give a collective thanks to HIM for them. Especially you need to reflect on the wealth of Eeman (true faith in ALLAH) and easy circumstances that ALLAH has given you and give your heartfelt thanks to HIM for them, and resolve to use those gifts in a proper way.  Besides this, whenever a thought crosses your mind about any of the bounties from ALLAH that you enjoy, you should thank HIM quietly, in your heart by saying ALHAMDULILLAH. In other words, whenever something happens according to what you wished or wanted and you feel happy...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Jumuat, 18th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Friday, 21st of January 2022). DO NOT IGNORE THE PHYSICAL INGREDIENTS OF FAITH. BismilLah. Physical actions such as the Salaat, Fasting, Zakaat and Hajj etc is an essential part of faith, without which faith is not valid, and a lack of physical action is indicative of a lack of faith in the heart, because they are strongly interconnected. Whoever thinks that there could be strong and sound faith without that leading to physical action (righteous deeds), even though he knows about his religious duties and is able to do them, is thinking that something impossible is possible, and is denying the connection between physical action and what is in the heart. Do not say my heart is pure but and I don't do bad things so I deserve paradise.  Let's step up our efforts to act as Muslims by following what we are required of us if indeed we want to die as Muslim. Please remember today is Friday. May ALLAH keeps guiding us al...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 17th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Thursday, 20th of January 2022). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Rad...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 16th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Wednesday, 19th of January 2022). THE REAL AND TRUE TREASURE  BismilLaah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sallAllahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “ALLAH gives worldly things to those HE loves and to those HE does not love, but HE grant eeman (faith) only to those HE loves most, so he who is given eeman by ALLAH, has been loved by HIM.” [Ahmad, Bayhaqiy]. The most priceless treasure on earth is eeman(faith or belief system). This is the currency that will buy us eternal happiness and all the riches you want to keep forever. Thus, whoever is given the treasure of eeman is among the most beloved people to ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala). We must strive to earn that from ALLAH, ALLAH does not just grant it without our efforts even though HE does as HE wishes.  If something is not in your share in this worldly life (e.g. car, house, nice clothes, good food) etc, it makes no difference. The duration of this life compared to...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 15th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Tuesday, 18th of January 2022). THE QUR'AN, THE DIRECT SPEECH OF ALLAH FOR MANKIND . BismilLah. The Qur'aan is the Direct Speech (kalaam) of ALLAH, in both WORDING and MEANING. From ALLAH it originated and to HIM shall it return. It is an inimitable miracle, indicative of the truthfulness of what the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam was sent with. Its text and meanings are preserved from corruption until the Day of judgement. That's what ALLAH says. ALLAH the Most High Speaks WHATEVER HE wills, WHEN HE wills and HOW HE wills is to perfection. The Speech of ALLAH is real (haqeeqah), with letter (harf) and voice (sawt), but we do not know about the modality and how it is (kayfiyyah), nor do we debate about it or delve into it. As believers, we here and we obey no but no if and that's one of the meaning of the Shahaada. As Muslims, it's compulsory to study the QUR'AN without ANY excuse...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 13th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Sunday, 15th of January 2022). THE FORGETFULNESS PROSTRATION (SUJUUD ASSAHW) POPULARLY TERM AS QABLI AND BAADI COMPENSATION IN SALAAT. BismilLah.  As human beings, we are by nature subject to mistakes and errors. If a person fails to perform any of the pillars of the prayer and/or necessary duties, that person is required to rectify the error by making two additional prostrations at the end of the prayer known as “SUJJUD ALSAHW”. i.e. forgetfulness prostration. But where a pillar(s) is omitted, a repetition of the missed pillar(s) is necessary. The four major types of errors due to forgetfulness are as follows: 1. If an addition is made to the prayer e.g. praying Dhuhr with 5 rakaa instead of 4, then the two additional prostrations for forgetfulness should be performed after saying “Assalaamu Alaikum”(TASLEEM). 2. If a prayer is performed with a lesser number of rakaa than is required, e.g. to pray 3 rakaa for D...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 12th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Saturday, 15th of January 2022). Meaning and Applying Istiqaamah  Bismillah. Istiqaamah is often translated to mean ‘uprightness, steadfastness and correctness.’ It comes from the root word قام (qaama) meaning ‘to rise’ or ‘to stand upright’ and from this we derive words like مستقيم(mustaqeem) as in ‘Siraat al-Mustaqeem’ (Straight Path). For the believer, Istiqaamah is a virtue that cannot be done without. It’s a quality that we continually strive to attain although we may fail at times. In this age where fitaan(tribulations) have become widespread and open sins are the norm, many people have lost the istiqaamah they once had in them – the strength to stay upon the straight path. Some tips on how to have istiqaamah: 1) Have a strong relationship with ALLAH: The best way is with HIS Wahi (revelation), the Qur’an. Ibn Taymiyyah said, “If you want to taste the sweetness of emaan, then upon you is the Book of ALLAH...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 11th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Friday, 14th of January 2022). FRIDAY KHUTBAH. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. I hope we will all prepare well for Jumuat salaat today, and please remember to recite Suuratul Kahf and also send salutations to our beloved Messenger of ALLAH Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam abundantly.  As Muslims, let's strive to surround ourselves with good practising Muslims  who are always advising us to be conscious of ALLAH. They are our only True Friends in this Life and in the Hereafter. Not everybody is out there to judge you; there are some who want the best for you and want to help you get into Al-Jannah, value them. Don't blame them to be Judgemental. The one to tell you your faults is your true friend. Indeed, a friend who doesn't care about your Aakhirāh (hereafter) is not really your friend. Sometimes the hardest person for you to correct is yourself. There is no sham...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 10th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Thursday, 13th of January 2022). MAKE A SINCERE BELIEVER YOUR CLOSED FRIEND. BismilLah.  Instead of making friends with the misguided ones, we should befriend the righteous and treat the rest in a gracious and just manner. Staying at sufficient distance is necessary, yet treating everybody in a noble and kind manner is required. We should have only good practising Muslims as our close friends. ALLAH the Exalted says in the Qur’an: “And (remember) the Day when the wrong-doer will bite their hands and say: Woe to me! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger. Woe to me! If only I had not taken so- and-so as a friend! He/she has led me astray from this Reminder (the Qur’an) after it had come to me. And Satan is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.” Qur’an 25:27-29. Meaning satan after deceiving you will laugh at you and rubbish your claim against him on judgement day.  Be wise and take heed be...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 9th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Wednesday, 12th of January 2022). RECONCILIATION  IS A KEY TO SUCCESS. BismilLah.  As the saying goes, ''Unity is Strength'' but unfortunately we have reduced Islam to rituals, tribalism, nationalism and forgotten other important pillars. While it is crucial to practice the five pillars of Islam, for instance, we cannot ignore other basic aspects of the faith that emphasize brotherhood and sisterhood. Muslim unity is a Fard (obligatory duty) according to the Quran and Traditions of the Prophet Mohamed (peace and blessings be upon him). Lets Consider the following From the Quran (49:10): ''The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear ALLAH, that you may receive Mercy. Also, from the Quran (3:103): ''And hold fast, all together, by the rope which ALLAH (stretches out for you, Quran), and be not divided among ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 8th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Tuesday, 11th of January 2022). TRIBAL WAR IS HARAAM IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  First of all, ALLAH commanded us in Qur'an 2 vrs 102 not to be devided and ensure we die as Muslims without fighting each other. We are weak as Muslims because we are busy fighting ourselves due to politics, tribalism, etc.  ALLAH has commanded us to uphold justice with all other human beings regardless of their race, religion, lineage, status, or identity. ALLAH said: O you who believe, be persistently standing firm in justice as witnesses for ALLAH, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, ALLAH is more worthy of both. Follow not your desires, lest you not be just. QURAN 4:135 Tribalists, by contrast, reject universal standards of justice. They divide the world into the privileged in-group and the demonized out-groups, holding to the slogan, “My people (or nation) right or wrong....
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 7th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Monday, 10th of January 2022). The virtue of saying; `La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu laa shariika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `alaa kulli shay’inn Qadir_*. BismilLah.  The Messenger of ALLAH said, “He who utters a hundred times in a day these words which means there is no true god except ALLAH. HE is ONE and HE has no partner with HIM; HIS is the sovereignty and HIS is the praise, and HE is Omnipotent),’ he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit, hundred of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him. And he who utters: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and HIS is the praise)’ one hundred times ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 6th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Sunday, 9th of January 2022). DO NOT REJECT THE CALL TO REAL SUCCESS. BismilLaah.  When a friend, a relative, or an acquaintance invites us to their house or to a social gathering, we usually tend to respond in two ways. Either we graciously accept their invitation, or we politely refuse because we simply have other commitments. It also often happens that when we respond in the negative, we tend to feel bad while turning down an invite. Imagine a situation where your friend invites you over for lunch. You decline the invitation, but he or she invites you again the next day. Clearly, the friend is interested in spending time with you because he or she must really like you. You decline again. The next day, your friend invites you once more for lunch. You will respond in either two ways. You will feel bad and finally accept the invite, or you will turn it down once more. After having his or her invitation rejected t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 5th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Saturday, 8th of January 2022). LOVING ONE ANOTHER AND SPREADING PEACE. BismilLah.  Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of ALLAH (peace be upon him) said, "By HIM in Whose Hand is my life! You will not enter Jannah until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I inform you of something which, if you do, you will love one another? Promote greetings amongst yourselves." (Riyad as-Saalihin, Book 6, Hadith 4). This is one of my favourite Hadiths.   Paradise is not just through our deeds or actions; it is from ALLAH'S Mercy. And it is HIS Mercy that through loving one another and spreading Salaam that you can attain Jannah. Even in Jannah, when the people meet each other, there is just peace. Why are you not talking to your brother or sister, etc, to the extent of no Assalaamu Alaikum to them. Well, if you can not forgive him or her, then don't expect ALLAH to forgive y...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 4th Jumaadal Aakhir. (Friday, 7th of January 2022). MENSTRUATION AND SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS. BismilLah. ALLAAH has forbidden men to have intercourse with their wives during their menstruation.  The Qur’aan clearly stated the reason for this prohibition, which is that menstruation is adha (a harmful thing). ALLAAH says to the nearest meaning:  “They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore, keep away from women during menses” [Qur'an 2:222]. Scientific studies in this field have disclosed to us some of the harm that is referred to in this verse, but they have not managed to describe all the harms that are referred to in the Qur’aanic text.  Dr. Muhiy al-Deen al-‘Alabi said: “It is essential to refrain from having intercourse with a menstruating women because doing so leads to an increase in the flo...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 3rd Jumaadal Aakhir. (Thursday, 6th of January 2022). SALAAT IS THE KEY TO ALL PROBLEMS. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH is reported to have said that; “A person who has misses one Salaat is like the one who has lost all his family and wealth. SubhaanAllah.   “Salaat was the first and foremost thing ordered by ALLAH after accepting to Obey HIM, and it shall be the first and foremost thing to be reckoned for on the Day of Judgment”. Salaat is the light of a Muslim, Salaat is the best ‘Jihad', Moreover, Salaah is the key to Paradise. Salaat ensues daily bread, promotes health, drives out diseases, strengthen the heart, brings light and beauty on the face, pleases the soul, refreshes the body, relives the mind, feeds the soul, illumines the heart and guarantees ALLAH'S fear, it grants protection from ALLAH'S doom, it keeps the devil away and brings us near to ALLAHS. What else do we need to hear before making Sala...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 2nd Jumaadal Aakhir. (Wednesday, 5th of January 2022). HOW PREPARED ARE WE FOR DEATH?. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in Quran 59:18. O you who believe! Have Taqwa of ALLAH. Taqwa of ALLAH which pertains to obeying what HE ordered and staying away from what HE forbade and let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow, meaning, hold yourselves accountable before you are recompensed, and contemplate what you have kept for yourselves of good deeds for the Day of your return and being paraded before your Lord, Have Taqwa of ALLAH, again ordering Taqwa, Verily, ALLAH is All-Aware of what you do. In the above verse ALLAH asserts that surely, HE knows all of our deeds and actions. Nothing that pertains to us ever escapes HIS observation, nor any matter of us, whether major or...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 1st Jumaadal Aakhir. (Tuesday, 4th of January 2022). FORGIVING OTHERS IS A BLESSINGS FOR OURSELVES. BismilLah.  Can anyone reading this reminder claims he or she does not make mistakes and fall short and does not wrong other people or transgress their rights to some extent? Each of us would like people to forgive us for all the wrongs we have done to them, isn't it?, so why wouldn't you forgive others who wrong you? Anyway, listen to what our Creator ALLAH may HE be exalted says in HIS Book, the Quran to forgive people and be patient with their annoyance: “If [instead] you show some good or conceal it or pardon an offence, indeed, ALLAH is ever Pardoning and Competent” [an-Nisaa’ 4:149]. Again, ALLAH says “And whoever is patient and forgives, indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination”[ash-Shoora 42:43]. Again “But if you pardon and overlook and forgive, then indeed, ALLAH is Forgiving and Merciful”[at-Taghaabun 6...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-ithnayn, 30th Jumaadal Uulaa. (Monday, 3rd of January 2022). ALLAH IS AL-FATTAH, LET'S RELY ON HIM FOR ALL OUR PROBLEMS. BismilLah.  We need to know al-Fattah when we feel that things are impossible or too difficult because ALLAH (swt) invites us to know HIM through HIS Names in any circumstances. Sheikh Al-Ghazali explained his understanding about al-Fattah, he said  “ALLAH is the One by Whose concern everything that is closed is opened.” If I tell you to open the door, it must mean that the door is closed. If it is already opened, you would probably give me a funny look. So, what does this mean? ALLAH al-Fattah opens the things that are closed. Those things that seem impossible, those things that you cannot understand how they even work. A door has to be closed in order for someone to open it. ALLAH says in the Qur’an: “Whatever mercy ALLAH opens for mankind, then none can be holding it back; and whatever HE holds back, then none ca...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 29th Jumaadal Uulaa. (Sunday, 2nd of January 2022). LET'S REVIVE THE SUNNAH FOR ALLAH'S PLEASURE. BismilLah.  Abu Sa'eed (R.A), who was one of the companions of our beloved messenger of ALLAH narrated that,  He heared from the prophet saying "Indeed anyone who fast for one day for ALLAH’s Pleasure, ALLAH will keep his or her face away from the hell fire for a distance covered by a journey of seventy years. This means ALLAH will not punish such a person in Hell. ALLAHU AKBAR. This can be traced in Sahih Bukhari Vol 4, book 52, Hadith 93.  The Prophet also said "Our deeds are also shown/ taking to ALLAH on Monday's and Thursday's and said he prefer his deeds are taken to ALLAH whiles he was fasting as such fasted each Mondays and Thursdays so lets emulate his example bcs he is the best role model to follow. While doing all these, we must check and correct our ways of life and avoid sinning and seeking for forgivenes...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 28th Jumaadal Uulaa. (Saturday, 1st of January 2022). AN EXCELLENT WAY IN GETTING CLOSER TO ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER. Bismillaah. Islam teaches us to utilize our time, money, and our knowledge for the sake of ALLAH.  Sponsor an orphan. The Messenger of ALLAH (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “I will be like this in Jannah (Paradise) with the person who takes care of an orphan.” The Messenger of ALLAH raised his forefinger and middle finger by way of illustration. This is very vital since sponsoring an orphan costs but a fragment of our income, and the reward for taking care of orphans is beyond what we can imagine in this life.  Always keep these two words in your mind and libs:  AlhamdulilLah and AstaghfirulLah.  AlhamdulilLah keeps you closer to ALLAH while AstaghfirulLah keeps you away from Sins. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty, and the Majestic) aid us through our little efforts and grant us good health and hala...
