THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 13th day of Safar (Thursday 1st October. 2020).  UNLAWFULLY EARNED MONEY IS LIKE WASHING YOUR DIRTY CLOTHES WITH WINE or ALCOHOL. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If a man earns by sinful acts and gives it in charity or an act of kindness or spends it in the way of ALLAH, ALLAH will throw him into Hell after collecting everything.” [From the book Ihya Ulum Id-Din by Imam Ghazali, ALLAH be please with him and forgive his sins. Aameen).  A charitable person only pleases ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) if he performs charity for the sake of ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) with halaal income. If a person performs charity to please ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) with it, he should know that ALLAH is not pleased with ill-gotten money. ALLAH is not pleased with our first violating HIS prescribed laws to earn money and then spending some of that money in causes delineated by HIM. That's an insult to ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 12th day of Safar (Wednesday 30th Sept. 2020). BismilLah. [البخاري 7/150] آميــــــــــــــن يارب العالمين Allaahumma 'Anta Rabbee laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, khalaqtanee wa 'anaa 'abduka, wa 'anaa 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mas-tata'tu, 'a'oothu bika min sharri maa sana'tu, 'aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa 'aboo'u bithanbee faghfir lee fa'innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunooba 'illaa 'Anta. O ALLAAH, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except YOU, YOU created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take re...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 11th day of Safar (Tuesday 29th Sept. 2020). MISSING JUMUĀH DUE TO LECTURES OR Work ETC . BismilLah. It's important we understand as Muslims that Jumu‘ah prayer is obligatory for the able-bodied Muslim man, and that staying away from it without any efforts not to miss it is a grave sin. What is required is to be very keen to attend this prayer regularly, for it is a weekly prayer and weekly Eid for the Muslims, the greatest and best of the days of the week. So it is not permissible to be heedless or negligent about it. Almost all Scholars who qualify for Issuing Fatwas has said that: Jumu‘ah prayer is an individual obligation (fard ‘ayn); it is not permissible to miss it because of working hour or study, and the like. ALLAH, may HE be glorified, says “And whoever fears ALLAH - HE will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect” [at-Talaaq 65:2-3]. From this verse it's clear that we must ma...
THE DAILY  REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 10th day of Safar (Monday 28th Sept. 2020). TRUTHFULNESS LEADS TO PEACE OF MIND. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, a true action leads to the path of virtue, and virtue paves the way of a person to paradise, and this person continues to speak the truth until, in the sight of ALLAH, he is named as-S’iddiq (the Truthful). Lying, on the other hand, leads to vice, and vice leads to indecent acts and a person goes on lying until, in the sight of ALLAH, he is called a liar (Bukhari, 116). This shows that truth brings peace of mind, but falsehood disturbs the mind. When the mind is disturbed as a result of vice, there is no way an individual can achieve peaceful coexistence with another brethren. This is also related to interpersonal transactions: A sale agreement is revocable until the buyer and seller part company. If they tell the truth and disclose everything relevant to the transaction, it bec...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 9th day of Safar (Sunday 27th Sept. 2020). ARE WE PRACTICING THE SUNNAH BY MOUTH OR ACTION? . BismilLah. * _ Keeping silent when Angry _ * : The Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: "If any of you becomes angry, let him keep silent." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 1/329; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 693, 4027). This is because in most cases, the angry person loses self control and could utter words of kufr (from which we seek refuge with ALLAH), or curses, or the word of divorce (talaaq) which would destroy his home, or words of slander which would bring him the enmity and hatred of others. So, in short, keeping silent is the solution which helps one to avoid all that. This is not new to almost all readers BUT  do we implement this knowledge in our daily lives? I guess I'm right to say NO including myself, That's why ALLAH commanded us to remind each other regularly so that it can motivat...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 8th day of Safar (Saturday 26th Sept. 2020). HOW CAN WE BENEFIT FROM FORGIVING OTHERS. BismilLah.  Earning ALLAH’s pleasure; When we are preoccupied with the wrongs others have committed against us, we lose focus of one of the most beautiful ways to get closer to ALLAH. The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “There was a merchant who used to extend credit to people. If he found one of his customers to be in difficulties he would say to his assistants: “Forgive them their debt, perhaps ALLAH will forgive us.” ALLAH did forgive him.” [Bukhari/Muslim].  There is a direct correlation between the ways we treat others and how ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) treats us. We all know the Prophet’s (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) famous saying “Have mercy on those on the earth, and the One in heaven, ALLAH will have mercy on you” [Tirmidhi]. Of course, ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) is incomparably greater and more merciful than us. Theref...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 8th day of Safar (Friday 25th Sept. 2020). MONITORING OUR INTENTIONS FOR ANYTHING WE DO. BismilLah.  Sheikh Abu 'Ubayd said, "The Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, collected all the affairs of the Hereafter in one statement, 'Whosoever introduces into this affair of ours that which is not part of it, then it is rejected,' and all the affairs of this world in one statement, 'Verily actions are by intentions.' Place them in every chapter." Imam Abu Dawud said: "I looked into the hadith of the Musnad (i.e. of imam Ahmad) and it consisted of 40,000 ahadith. Then I looked again and (found that) the 40,000 ahadith revolved around 4 ahadith: The hadith of Nu'man ibn Bashir,' The halal is clear and the haram is clear'; The hadith of 'Umar, 'Verily actions are by intentions'; The hadith of Abu Hurayrah,'Verily ALLAH is pure, and does not accept except that which is pure. And inde...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 6th day of Safar (Thursday 24th Sept. 2020). YES IT'S TOO LONG I KNOW BUT PLEASE SPARE JUST UNDER 3 MINUTES FOR IT . BismilLah. Please note that "Every human is a slave. You're either a slave of your desires or a slave of ALLAH. You either live life by your rules or the rules of ALLAH. How can the heart travel to ALLAH if it's chained by its desires of this temporary world? Sheikh Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyah said O' son of Aadam! Sell this World for the hereafter and you will win both, sell the hereafter for this world & you will lose both. Meaning if you stick to obedience to the CREATOR ALLAH you will benefit from this world and the hereafter but if you abandon ALLAH'S rules and follow as you wish, you looses both. Islam is not a buffet where you pick and choose what suits you. Don't obey your desires. Obey ALLAH. "Imprisoned is he, whose heart is imprisoned from ALLAH. Captured is he, who is capture...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Arba'a, 5th day of Safar (Wednesday 23rd Sept. 2020). THE BEAUTY OF BROTHERHOOD IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  Brotherhood in Islam is a comprehensive concept that is based upon good character with others, treating others the way we want to be treated, and uniting together upon common values. The believers are but brothers, so make reconciliation between yourselves and fear ALLAH that you may receive mercy. Quran 49:10. Brothers here mean a faith-based community that includes both men and women as brothers and sisters in religion. ALLAH says: The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give charity and obey ALLAH and HIS Messenger. ALLAH will have mercy upon them, for ALLAH is Almighty and Wise. Quran 9:71. ALLAHU AKBAR.  Le...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 4th day of Safar (Tuesday 22nd Sept. 2020). TEMPTATIONS IN LIFE CAN BE BLESSINGS FROM ALLAH or EVIL PLOT FROM SHEITAN TO DEVIATE US INTO HELL FIRE. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Temptations are presented to the heart, one by one. Any heart that accepts them will be left with a black stain on the heart, but any heart that rejects them will be left with a mark of purity, so that hearts are of two types: a dark heart that has turned away and become like an overturned vessel, and a pure heart that will never be harmed by temptation for as long as the earth and the heavens exist. The dark heart only recognizes good and denounces evil when this suits its desires and whims.” [Muslim, Kitab al-eeman]. Acts of obedience are essential to the well being of the heart of the servant of ALLAH, just in the same way that food and drink are to that of the body. All wrong actions are the same as ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 3rd day of Safar (Monday 21st Sept. 2020). CALL IT PYRAMID SCHEME, REFERAL SCHEME, ONLINE MARKETING SCHEME ETC ALL ARE HARAAM. BismilLah. As Muslims its important we fear ALLAH and only act to do anything or to involve ourselves in any business by first asking if its permissible in shariah or not. Remember you will die and you can die anyday so do not risk your life into any money making venture and die with it. Its the highest risk to take in life. Hell will be terrible place to be. The grave is a terrible place for anyone who die disobeying ALLAH. Remember you will die and leave the money aside. Basically ALL forms of money making schemes are haraam without any doubt. Its a brain robbery. You are not different to armed robber. He uses amenitions and you are using brain. You are dangerous to the society than armed robber as he can easily be caught and disciplined but you are even trying to defend yours to be legitimate abusing others ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 3rd day of Safar (Sunday 20th Sept. 2020). HOW TO DISCIPLINE OURSELVES TOWARDS OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH. BismilLah.  Let's note that ALLAH doesn’t put any blessings in wrong doings so don't try to survive through haraam means with ANY EXCUSES. If you study Quran and Sunnah well, you will notice that whatever ALLAH offer to us as our sustenance,  Satan also offer something similar so example if ALLAH decides this year your sustenance is 1000ghc, Satan also offers 1000ghc or more the haraam means so we either choose ALLAH'S offer through halaal means/jobs or Satan's offer that's why almost all those saakaawa (those who steal online) guys always suffers at the end because they chooses Satan's offer for quick money the haraam ways which has no real benefits. So let's stop any haraam activities that earns us haraam monies such as football betting, riba based businesses, fornication business, killing others for evil means to ob...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 2nd day of Safar (Saturday 19th Sept. 2020). THE ONENESS OF ALLAH IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  The Jews says they worship Uzayr as the son of ALLAH. The Christians says they worship Jesus  Christ, Issah Alaihi salaam as the son/part of ALLAH. The Zoroastrians says they worship the sun and the moon as symbols of ALLAH and the idolators says they worship idols as physical representation of ALLAH. But ALLAH revealed to the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to tell mankind that: HE, ALLAH is the name of the CREATOR, ALLAH is ONE and ONLY. ALLAH is HE on Whom all depend. HE begets not, nor is HE begotten. And none is like HIM. Qur’an 112:1-4. ALLAH is worshiped directly through the teachings of the Messengers with involving those messengers in the worship. This is the teaching of ALLAH complete Oneness and it is the essence of Islam. All other laws, beliefs and commands of Islam are built on this foundation. Take it away, and ther...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 1st day of Safar (Friday 18th Sept. 2020). PROPHET MOHAMMED SALLALLAAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM WAS KIND AND MERCIFUL TO ALL THE CREATION Of THE LORD BismilLah.  Jubair ibn Mut’im reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, I have names: I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am the eraser through whom ALLAH erases unbelief, and I am the gatherer at whose feet the people will be gathered, and I am the seal of prophecy.” Jubair said, “And ALLAH has named him as kind and merciful.” Source: Sahih Muslim 2354. As Muslims its important we study about him and implement his ways in our life. Today is Friday, let's remember to seek more blessings from ALLAH for ourselves by reciting lots of zikir especially Salaat Alan Nabi.  May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increase us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-Khamis, 29th day of Muharram (Thursday 17th Sept. 2020). THE POWER OF THE QUR'AN.BismilLah.  The recitation of the Qur’an is surely full of blessings and a great act of reward. It can be recited for whatever reason one desires, such as seeking blessings, attaining Baraka, and obtaining success in some matter. Qur’an is a source of guidance for the bewildered, remedy for the ailing, healing for the spiritually diseased and a code of life for whole of humanity. ALLAH Most High says: “HE send down in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe. To the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss.” (al-Isra, 82). AND ALLAH says: “O mankind! There has come to you a direction from your lord (Qur’an) and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts, and for those who believe guidance and a mercy.” (Surah Yunus, 57) And again ALLAH says: “Say to mankind: The Qur’an is a guide and a healing to those who believe.” (Surah Fussi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ar'ba'a, 28th day of Muharram (Wednesday 16th Sept. 2020). THE REWARDS OF HELPING THOSE IN NEED. Bismillah.  On the authority of Abu Huraira (may ALLAH be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) who said, ” Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, ALLAH will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, ALLAH will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, ALLAH will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter. ALLAH is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother. Whoever follows a path in order to seek knowledge thereby, ALLAH will make easy to him, due to it, a path to Paradise. No people gather together in a house of the houses of ALLAH, reciting the Book of ALLAH and stu...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 27th day of Muharram (Tuesday 15th Sept. 2020). LET'S BE REALISTIC IN SERVING OUR LORD, ALLAH. BismilLah.  We are  all hoping for Paradise but most of us are not working for it. How do you expect to get PARADISE when you haven't worked for it on Earth? That's like expecting to pass an exam you never took a class for. We live in a time where people leave out food in fear of becoming overweight, but cannot leave out sins in  fear of ALLAH! For a believer. you may be penniless, homeless, unemployed, sick and feel like you have nothing. But you have the One thing that money can't buy: "ALLAH". ALLAH knows what you want, what you need, what you deserve, at what time & what place, trust HIM & HIS decisions is best for HIS creation, HE knows while you don't. May ALLAH aid us through our little efforts to please HIM seeking HIS PARADISE. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 26th day of Muharram (Monday 14th Sept. 2020). LET'S STRIVE TO BE AMONG THOSE WHOM ALLAH LOVES.  BISMILLAH.  Basically, ALLAH loves all of HIS creatures and for that reason HE sent PROPHETS and MESSENGERS to teach us the truth and guide us to the straight path. ALLAH want people to choose the way of righteousness and thereby enter Paradise, ALLAH does not love sinful actions. A person who rejects ALLAH, commits evil deeds, and dies without repentance will be denied the blessings of ALLAH’S love. Therefore, we should become familiar with the characteristics of those whom ALLAH loves and does not love as mentioned in the QURAN to that we can strive and pray to be among the successful ones. ALLAH loves those who depend upon HIM for their needs, who are mindful of HIM and remember Him. HE loves those who are grateful to HIM for their blessings, who fear HIS punishment and hope in HIS reward. ALLAH commanded the Prophet sallallahu...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ahad, 25th day of Muharram (Sunday 13th Sept. 2020). THE GREATNESS OF SAYING LAA HAWLA WALAA KUWATA ILLAA BILLAH. BismilLah.  This phrase is one of our greatest weapons as Muslims. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam actually said that this phrase is what is written underneath the thrown of the Almighty ALLAH ALLAHU AKBAR. if you say this phrase sincerely with full trust in your heart about its powerful nature, trust me you can even step on a wounded wild snake by mistake, it cannot bite you by the will of ALLAH. The phrase basically means There is no power or strength except with ALLAAH. Saying this phrase means you accept you cannot do anything without the support of ALLAH that's why even before salaat when the muazzin says hayya alas Salaat/ Fallah, we respond by saying the above phrase to mean that even with the salaat we cannot offer it without the support of ALLAH.  It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik said: ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 24th day of Muharram (Saturday 12th Sept. 2020). Morals and Manners in Islam. BismilLah..  The Prophet Muhammed (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “Whoever believes in ALLAH and the last day then let him say a word that is good or be silent.”  And the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “From the goodness of a person’s Islam is that he leaves off that which does not concern him.” Also, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said to the one who sought advice from him: “Do not become angry!” Likewise, the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa Sallam) said: “None of you (truly) believes until he loves for his brother, what he loves for himself.” Hence, these four narrations are all from forty hadeeth of the narrations regarding morals and manners, collected by Imam An-Nawawee (May ALLAH be pleased with him). These actions must be done all the time for our own good.  May ALLAH aid us to practice what we learn. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ul Jumuat, 23rd day of Muharram (Friday 11th Sept. 2020). SALAAT ALAN NABI Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam. Bismillah.    The status which has been given to our beloved Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) among all Prophets and Messengers is UNIQUE. He is superior most and excels all among ALLAH'S creation, Last in the chain of Prophets, being the greatest benefactor of humanity, in him (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) culminates the perfection of all earlier Messages. We are indebted to him more than anyone else aside ALLAH as ALLAH guided us through him sallallahu alaihi wasallam and the only way to express our gratitude to him is to submit supplication to ALLAH for him as ALLAH mentioned it in the Qur'an so that we can gain lots of blessings to ourselves. There is no better day than today Friday to send lots of salutation seeking blessings from ALLAH. Target 100x today before asr. Say in shaa ALLAH and start as soon as possible from ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 22nd day of Muharram (Thursday 10th Sept. 2020). LIFE IS SHORT. BismilLah.  Our mentality towards life must change my brothers and sisters. We see how people die so easily and painfully but we don't seems to appreciate life and to meet ALLAH. When it comes to marriage, it is not about having the right person, but creating the right relationship as an act of worship. It's not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end seeking to please ALLAH all the time as an act of worship. Search for a good heart, but don't search for a beautiful face, because beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful as the wise says. Often when we lose all hope and think this is the end, remember ALLAH and pray, it’s just a bend, not the end.' Pray two rakaats and talk to ALLAH who is online live 24/7. Have faith and have a successful life. One of the basic differences between ALLAH and humans is...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum arba'a, 21st day of Muharram (Wednesday 9th Sept. 2020). ALLAH IS WITH YOU MY PATIENT BROTHERS AND SISTERS.  BismilLah.  ALLAH has made patience like a horse that never gets tired, an army that can never be defeated and a strong fortress that can never be breached. Patience and victory are twin brothers, for victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress and ease comes with hardship. Patience is of more help to the one who has it, as it helps without any need for equipment or numbers and its relationship to victory is like that of the head to the body.  In the Qur’aan, ALLAAH has guaranteed those who are patient that HE will give them reward without measure. HE tells us that HE is with us by guiding and supporting us and granting us a clear victory. ALLAAH says in Quran, “Surely, I'm with those who are As‑Saabiroon (the patient)” Quran 6:46. Do you want ALLAH to be with you always? Then lets rely only on ALLAH for better fo...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ath-thalaatha, 20th day of Muharram (Tuesday 8th Sept. 2020). ALLAH IS SUFFICIENT MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN FAITH. BismilLah.  Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Surely I know an Aayat (verse in the QUR'AN) which, if people would have followed it, would have sufficed for them concerning everything (in life), The verse is '‘For those who fear ALLAH, HE provides a way out for them, (and) HE also provides them provisions from (sources) that they could never have imagined (Surah at-Talaq, partly from verses 2-3). Let's check example how ALLAH help us through difficulties.  "The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly to ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually built a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the wild animals and store his ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 19th day of Muharram (Monday 7th Sept. 2020). CAN ANYONE SEE THE JINNS? . BismilLah.  Imam Ash-Shafi’i said in one of his lectures that: “Whoever is of sound character and claims to have seen the jinn, his testimony is no longer valid, because ALLAH says: ‘Verily, he(satan) and his qabeeluhu (his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe) see you from where you cannot see them’ [7:27]. Only The Prophets of ALLAH can see them by the permission of ALLAH.  Ibn Hazm said:   “The jinns are real, and they are creatures created by ALLAH. Among them are kaafirs (non-Muslims) and believers. They can see us but we cannot see them. They eat, have children and die. ALLAH says:  ‘O you assembly of jinn and mankind!’ [6:130]. ‘And the jinn, We created aforetime from the smokeless flame of fire’ [15:27]. ‘”And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to ALLAH, after listening to this Quran), and of us some are al‑qaasitoon (disbe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 18th day of Muharram (Sunday 6th Sept. 2020). THE REALITY CHECK. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Qur'an as we all know that "Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full compensation on the Day of Resurrection...(Qur'an 3:185) The awareness of death and its realities guides one to repent and seek forgiveness for sins consistently. It keeps us humble and in check. It brings with it an amount of wisdom that produces tranquility in the face of hardship, inner contentment with our provisions and blessings, and sweetness in performing acts of worship that go towards fulfilling our purpose in this life and keeping our priorities in order. I'm unwell for 3 days now please remember me in your dua.  May ALLAH keep guiding us and increases us in beneficial knowledge. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 17th day of Muharram (Saturday 5th Sept. 2020). PROBLEMS IN LIFE? CHECK YOUR WAYS OF LIFE. BismilLaah.  Let's note that all calamities are sent by ALLAH because of our sins and are removed because of our repentance. The wisdom to derive from this formula is simple and effective, imagine we don't face any calamities whilst we keep sinning with passion and getting whatever we want, Satan will keep deviating us making us feel it's normal till death, may ALLAH forbid. Remember what ALLAH says, HE does not change the condition of anyone till we change our ways of life to conform with HIS rules and regulations.  Sheikh Ibn Al-Qayyim may ALLAH be pleased with him reported in one of his books that: Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, may ALLAH be pleased with him, said, “A trial is not sent down except due to a sin, and it is not lifted except with repentance.” Al-Jawab Al-Kafi 1/74. There are numerous hadith on this topic meaning we must be carefu...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 16th day of Muharram (Friday 4th Sept. 2020). THE THREE MAJOR SINS TO STAY AWAY FROM. BismilLah.  ALLAH says: “And come not near to unlawful sex. Verily, it is a Faahishah (i.e. anything that transgresses its limits: a great sin), and an evil way that leads one to hell unless ALLAAH forgives him”[al-Isra’ 17:32].  Imam Al-Bukhaari narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with them all) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) said: “No adulterer is a believer at the time when he is committing adultery; no thief is a believer at the time when he is stealing; no drinker of wine is a believer at the time when he is drinking it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5578) and Muslim (57). From the above, we can't belittle any of these 3 major sins as you may die as a disbeliever committing these sins Astaqfirullah. Please remember today is Friday.  May ALLAH protect us and our offsprings from such unfortunate en...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al Khamis, 15th day of Muharram (Thursday 3rd Sept. 2020). OUR SALAAT MUST BE A PRIORITY IN ALL WE DO. BismilLah.  Observance of Salaat serves as the concrete expression of thankfulness and appreciation to our Creator and Sustainer. After each prayer, we not only feel peace and tranquility but also self-fulfillment because we have performed the primary commandment of ALLAH. It gives us hope that ALLAH will forgive our sins as HE is Most Forgiving (39:53; 53:32). If we sincerely pray to HIM, HE will surely answer our prayer. "And your RABB ALLAH says: 'Call on ME; I will answer your (invocation). But those who are too arrogant to serve ME will surely enter Hell abased.'" (40:60) If we pray to ALLAH, HE will bless our life here on earth and in the Hereafter. The Qur'an teaches us to have a well-balanced life as shown in the following supplication to ALLAH: And of them there are some who say: "...Our RABB (Only GOD and Sustaine...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 14th day of Muharram (Wednesday 2nd Sept. 2020). LET'S FOCUS ON ACHIEVING PARADISE. BismilLah.  No one can be completely in peace not knowing what will happen to them after death. Even if they claim otherwise. This is why it’s a major injustice to not adequately know ALLAH, The Creator who created us and this life for a purpose. True monotheism is essentially about adequately knowing our Creator, understanding ourselves and actualizing our purpose in life. The first and primary advice, then, is to understand who you are, what you’re doing here and where you are going. This understanding gives a sense of focus, peace and direction; and this is the essence of True Monotheism. So as Muslims, it's important to invest into ourselves and our children in studying these ways of life through the Quran and other teachings of Islam instead of investing solely on worldly gains for ourselves and our children. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and p...
