THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 11th day of Zul Hijjah (1st August 2020).  HALAAL MEANS OF ENTERTAINMENT. BismilLah.  We all know how this Eid Celebrations have been turned into haraam festivals in almost every part of the globe due to satanic influences. Our sisters and brothers don't dress Islamically, we buy clothing made for non Muslims for our kids. Our sisters dress half Islamic but half non-Islamic showing off their necks, chest, hands to elbow etc. Alhamdulillah I've done a research and came out with some possible halaal means to enjoy our Eid.    Someone will say “Halal” Entertainment? Are you kidding me? Well, certainly not. Human Being  is a social animal and  needs entertainment. I guess that is exactly why Eid (literally, celebration) is there for. We Muslims just need to find proper ways to make it. Halal entertainment refers to all that stuff you do within the bounds of Islam. Let's consider some of  these awesome ways to get ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 10th day of Zul Hijjah (31st July 2020). *_EID MUBARAK_*.  BismilLah.  EID MUBARAK TO YOU ALL.  Eidul Adhar is the day of globalized celebrations among Muslims. We are emulating the sacrifice Ibrahim(Abraham peace be upon him) made to ALLAH under the guidance of ALLAH HIMSELF so whoever is capable should sacrifice for ALLAH sake and distribute some of the meat and other food stuff to the needy as taught by our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallallahu alaihi wasallam which is basically to divide the meat into 3, one for yourself and family, one part as sadaqa to those who couldn't slaughter and the rest as gift to friends and relatives even to the non Muslims. There is no harm in consuming all the meat between you and your family. Lets celebrate the halaal way and fear ALLAH and avoid the so called Sallah dance etc. Visit relatives/friends and share the joy of eid with them. May ALLAH accept it from us all and make this eid a joyful...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, Blessed 9th day of Dhul Hijjah. (Thursday 30th July, 2020). GOOD DEEDS ON THIS BLESSED DAY OF ARAFAH. BismilLah.  AlhamdulilLah for granting us the opportunity to be part of this day. It's my hope that all those who could fast are Fasting be-iznilLah. May ALLAH accept it from us all and forgive our past, present and future shortcomings. Aameen.  After each salaat it's recommended to recite the below Zikir up to the Asr of the 13th day of Dhul Hijjah.  Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah, Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, Allaahu Akbar, wa Lillaahi’l-hamd (ALLAH is Most Great, ALLAH is Most Great, ALLAH is Most Great, there is none worthy of worship except ALLAH, ALLAH is Most Great, ALLAH is Most Great , ALLAH is Most Great, and all praise be to ALLAH). Allahu Akbar can be recited twice instead of thrice, all accepted AlhamdulilLah.  As we fast today seeking for ALLAH'S forgiveness, let's recite ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 8th day of Dhul Hijjah (Wednesday 29th July, 2020). SHARING AN ANIMAL FOR THE SACRIFICE. BismilLah.  Islam is a complete way of life as such has rulings on all issues if we choose to learn. ALLAH does not require us to do things above our abilities or Capabilities. Remember its compulsory to sacrifice IF you have the means, married or single, male and female.  It is permissible to share in a sacrifice if it is a camel or a cow, but it is not permissible to share in a sheep or goat etc. It is permissible for seven, 7 people to share one camel or cow.  Imam Muslim and many other companions of the Prophet narrated that On the day of al-Hudaybiyah we offered the sacrifice with the Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him), a camel on behalf of seven and a cow on behalf of seven.  Please don't miss fasting tomorrow Thursday 9th of Dhul Hijjah, the day of ARAFAH, a huge rewarding day of mending our relationshi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 7th day of Dhul Hijjah (Tuesday 28th July, 2020). .DON'T MISS FASTING ON ARAFAH DAY NEXT THURSDAY. BismilLah.  The Messenger of ALLAH (sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “ الحج عرفة “ or “Hajj is all about Arafah“. The Arabic text implies a very important concept of the meaning of Hajj. This short statement means that the whole hajj and its validity is confined in the actual day of Arafah i.e. Hajj becomes valid only when the day of Arafah is observed and witnessed by those who undertake the journey, the pilgrims. Regardless how long the hujjaj stay in Makkah, if they missed that single day, they have then missed the whole Hajj. The name Arafat was mentioned in Surat al-Baqara 2:198 “It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafaat, celebrate the praises of ALLAH at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate HIS praises as HE has directed you, even though, before thi...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 6th day of Dhul Hijjah (Monday 27th July, 2020). * _ ANIMALS FOR THE UPCOMING EID SACRIFICE _ * . BismilLah. Eid sacrifice is a Sunnah (recommended act) for any Muslim who is able to do it. Slaughtering the 'Eid sacrifice is better than giving its value in charity. If you are living abroad and cannot find a suitable animal to sacrifice, you can pay money to Islamic charities who buy the animals and slaughter on your behalf as your sacrifice for the poor to enjoy the meat. The best way for more rewards is to buy and slaughter and be slaughted for you and your family to enjoy, given some to those who couldn't slaughter and some to neighbours to let your own family sacrifice on your behalf and enjoy its meat.    The sacrificed animal should be from the livestock: cows, camels, sheep and goats. As for the prevailing view in this concern might be that the sheep and goats are the best animals for the sacrifice because the Prophet...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 5th day of Dhul Hijjah (Sunday 26th July, 2020). EID DAY'S SACRIFICE. BismilLah.  Eid day Sacrifice means slaughter of an animal in the name of ALLAH The Almighty GOD on the 10th, 11th or 12th of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Sacrifice, as practised by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) is an essential religious rite in memory of the sacrifice performed by Prophet Abraham peace be upon him. ALLAH put Abraham to a most difficult trial, the details of which are described in the Quran. "O my Lord! Grant me (Abraham) a righteous (son)!? So ALLAH gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. "Then, when the the son(Ishmael) reached the age to work with him, he said: "O my son I see in a vision that I offer you in sacrifice: Now say what is your view! (The first son, Ishmael) said: "O My father! Do as you are commanded: You will find me if ALLAH so wills, one practising patience and con...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 4th day of Dhul Hijjah (Saturday 25th July, 2020). LET'S BE POSITIVE IN ALL WE DO. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  AlhamdulilLah for guiding us into Islamic ways of life which is the ONLY way to Paradise says ALLAH.  As Muslims, Our thoughts have a powerful ability to determine our feelings and emotional states and ultimately affect how we behave, for better or worse. Islam teaches us to direct the act reflection (tafakkur), or deep thought, towards the signs of ALLAH, the names and attributes of ALLAH, to HIS blessings and wonders, to hope in the Hereafter. By controlling our thought processes in a positive manner, we can increase the effectiveness of our prayers and worship as well as relieve ourselves from the anger, depression, and anxieties that worldly thoughts induce. Contrary to popular belief, we have control over which thoughts we choose to follow. We may not have a choice over which particular thought occurs initially in ou...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 3rd day of Dhul Hijjah (Friday 24th July, 2020). GOOD DEEDS IN THESE BLESSED DAYS ONGOING. BismilLah.  Let's strive to use the opportunity of of these first 10 days and nights of ZUL-HIJJAH to make Sincere Repentance as ALLAH loves those who repent to HIM in complete submission. The act of sincere repentance to ALLAH with intention to never return to HIS disobedience and sin is very dear to HIM. Return to ALLAH by giving up all the deeds, open and secret, that HE dislikes. Be regretful of your sins and disobedience and resolve to never return to sin and to firmly adhere to the path which ALLAH loves.  ALLAH  says, “But as for him who repented, believed and did righteous deeds, then he will be among those who are successful.” [Al-Qasas 28:67]. ALLAHU AKBAR. Dhul Hijjah first 10 days is not just for fasting but doing as many good deeds as possible especially sisters in their monthly cycle etc.  Let's establish a beautiful new...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 2nd day of Dhul Hijjah (Thursday 23rd July, 2020).  10 BEST DAYS OF THE YEAR WITH US. BismilLaah.  AlhamdulilLah for blessing us with another blessed day of the week. Hopefully you are fasting today. If you forgot today is Thursday and Dhul Hijjah Fasting too, you can still decide from now to continue with the day fasting. Dhul Hijjah is the Month of Hajj and it is the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. During this month the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, known as hajj, takes place. The actual pilgrimage rites occur on the 8th to 12th days of the month. The 9th day is the day of Arafah to earn golden rewards of fasting and doing other good deeds.  According to our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam, the first 10 days of this month are  special time for devotion. During these days, preparations are underway for those who are undertaking the pilgrimage, and most of the actual pilgrimage rites occur. In partic...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 1st day of Dhul Hijjah (Wednesday 22nd July, 2020) Doing more good deeds than usual from today till Eidul Adhar and beyond. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to ALLAH than these ten days (Dhul Hijjah). Therefore we should increase the amount of good deeds we do in order to take advantage of this blessed time where good deeds are increased significantly. Let's not waste this precious time: We should worship during the 10 days and nights without being distracted by worldly tasks. We must make a firm intention that during these blessed 10 days that we will not take part in idle talk, watch TV, play computer games or spend time on the social media aside learning and teaching. There are many more days in the year for all that if you really cannot resist. This is just 10 days! Consider the utter loss and regret for those who waste these blessed...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 30th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Tuesday 21st July, 2020). BEST ANIMALS TO USE AS SACRIFICE. BismilLah. According to the Prophet sallallahu Alaihi wasallam, the best animals to use if you can afford are: camels, then cows, if sacrificed on behalf of one person; then sheep; then goats; then one-seventh of a camel; then one-seventh of a cow. The best type of animals are those which are fat and have more meat, and are physically complete and good looking. In Saheeh al-Bukhaari it is narrated from Anas ibn Maalik (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) used to sacrifice two horned rams that were white speckled with black. It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) sacrificed a whole (i.e., not castrated), horned male sheep, with a black face and black (circles) round the eyes, and black legs. ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 29th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Monday 20th July, 2020) WHO SHOULD OFFER A SACRIFICE DURING EIDUL ADHAR. BismilLah. The Masenger of ALLAH (sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said: “Whoever can afford to offer a sacrifice but does not do so, let him not approach our place for prayer. (Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Maajah; classed as saheeh by al-Haakim from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him).  Offering sacrifice during `Eid Al-Adha is regarded as wajib or mandatory according to Imam Abu Hanifah and as sunnah mu'akkadah or confirmed Sunnah according to other jurists for those who has regularly income or those WHO CAN AFFORD. 7 people can share one cow as their sacrifice, a sheep and goat are all permitted more about animals that can be used to follow tomorrow in Shaa ALLAH. May ALLAH aid us to be able to sacrifice for HIS sake. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 28th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Sunday 19th July, 2020). DO NOT CURSE OR ABUSE ANYONE. BismilLaah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: وَلَعْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَقَتْلِهِ وَمَنْ رَمَى مُؤْمِنًا بِكُفْرٍ فَهُوَ كَقَتْلِهِ Cursing a believer is like killing him and charging a believer with unbelief is like killing him. Sahih Bukhari 5754. Abu Hurairah may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَنْبَغِي لِصِدِّيقٍ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا It is not befitting the truthful that they curse others. Sahih Muslim 2597. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَيْسَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِالطَّعَّانِ وَلَا اللَّعَّانِ وَلَا الْفَاحِشِ وَلَا الْبَذِيءِ The believer does not taunt others, he does not curse others, he does not use profanity, and he does not abuse others. Sunan At-Tirmidhi 1977. From t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 27th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Saturday 18th July, 2020). MAKING DUA FOR DISBELIEVERS. BismilLah. The Messenger for Mercy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam encouraged us to make dua for ALLAH to guide the misguided people instead of cursing them. Imam Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: At-Tufail came with his companions and they said, “O Messenger of ALLAH, the tribe of Daws has disbelieved and rejected you, so pray to ALLAH against them.” And it was said, “May the tribe of Daws be destroyed!” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, guide the tribe of Daws and bring them to me.” In another narration, the Prophet said, “Verily, I have not been sent to invoke curses, but rather I was sent as mercy.” Saheeh Bukhari 4131, Saheeh Muslim 2524. Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim. Let's strive to do daawah to non Muslims around us especially...

THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 26th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Friday 17th July, 2020). KINDNESS AND OBEDIENCE TO OUR PARENTS. BismilLah. The Arabic word that is used in the Quran and in the narrations of the Prophet to denote this kindness to parents is ‘Bir’, and more often, it is translated as goodness.  ‘Bir’ does not only mean goodness; it contains shades of meaning that indicate kindness, compassion, respect and even patience. Islam encompasses all these qualities, and Muslims must strive to model this behaviour in all dealings, particularly in the relationship between parents and children. Parents cared and nurtured their children their entire lives, but at one point this duty reverses, parents become old and feeble and in need of care and nurturing themselves.  The child is obligated to care for the parents by displaying all the qualities of ‘bir’ and knowing that the reward for this is with Allah. The Prophet  said, “If anyone possesses these three ch...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 24th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Wednesday 15th July, 2020). DO NOT FAIL THE TEST OF ALLAH. BismilLah. Unfortunately in our so called modern day, you find some Muslims who claim to be Muslims but as soon as little test of hardship hit them, you find them going for spiritual help from evil sources such as pastors and sooth Sayers instead of crying to ALLAH. Such are the loosers who has failed their spiritual test from ALLAH. Remember What the prophet sallallahu Alaihi wasallam said that the entire evil of mankind and jinn kind can come together to harm you but they cannot succeed unless if ALLAH permit and if ALLAH permit then no one can expel it except ALLAH so maintain your relationship with ALLAH and fear NO ONE. ALLAH HIMSELF says in the Quran “And certainly, I will test you with a bit of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits. But give glad tidings to the patient ones who, when afflicted with a calamity, say: “Truly! To ALLAH ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 24th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Wednesday 15th July, 2020). DON'T BE SLAVE TO YOUR DESIRES. BismilLah. Please note that "Every human is a slave or servant. You're either a servant of your desires or a servant of ALLAH. You either live life by your rules or the rules of ALLAH. No any other choice. Sheikh Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyah said O' son of Aadam! Sell this World for the hereafter and you will win both, sell the hereafter for this world & you will lose both. Meaning if you stick to obedience to the CREATOR ALLAH you will benefit from this world and the hereafter but if you abandon ALLAH'S rules and follow as you wish, you looses both. Islam is not a buffet where you pick and choose what suits you. Don't obey your desires. Obey ALLAH. "Imprisoned is he, whose heart is imprisoned from ALLAH. Captured is he, who is captured by his or her desires." Sheikh Fudayl Ibn Iyad was asked "What do you...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 23rd day of Dhul Qa'adah (Tuesday 14th July, 2020). DYING WITH DEBTS IS DANGEROUS. BismilLah. It was narrated from Thawbaan (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) that the Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever dies free from three things – arrogance, cheating and debt – will enter Paradise.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (1572). There are many hadith on this Astaqfirullah. May ALLAH protect us from debts and aid us to pay ouf debts before dying. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 22nd day of Dhul Qa'adah (Monday 13th July, 2020). COVERING OTHERS FAULTS continues. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Abu Huraira reported: A man was brought to the Prophet for drinking wine. Some of us struck him with our hands, and others with their shoes, and others with their shirts twisted into a lash. When we finished, someone said to him, “May ALLAH disgrace you!” The Messenger of ALLAH , peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا تَقُولُوا هَكَذَا لَا تُعِينُوا عَلَيْهِ الشَّيْطَانَ Do not speak like this. Do not help Satan against him. Sahih Bukhari 6395. We now know the importance of covering once fault. Let's strive to emulate such attitude.May ALLAH have mercy on us all and cover our faults. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 21st day of Dhul Qa'adah (Sunday 12th July, 2020). COVERING OTHERS FAULTS IN ISLAM. BismilLaah. Imam An-Nawawi may ALLAH be pleased with him records in his book Riyad us-Saliheen that: ALLAH the Exalted says: إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ أَن تَشِيعَ الْفَاحِشَةُ فِي الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ Verily, those who like that immorality should be spread among the believers will have a painful punishment in this world and in the Hereafter. ALLAH knows and you do not know. Surah An-Nur 24:19. SubhaanAllah, astaqgfirullah. May ALLAH have mercy on us all. Abu Huraira may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: لَا يَسْتُرُ عَبْدٌ عَبْدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ A servant does not cover the faults of another servant but that ALLAH will cover his faults on the Day o...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 20th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Saturday 11th July, 2020). Brotherhood/ sisterhood in Islam. BismilLah. ALLAH says: "The Believers are but a single brotherhood . . .Qur'an 49:10). The brotherhood of faith is the strongest of bonds between hearts and minds. It comes as no surprise to see that Muslim brothers and sisters enjoy a strong, enduring relationship that is based on love for the sake of ALLAH (SWT), which is the noblest and purest form of love between human beings. This is a love which is untainted by any worldly interest or ulterior motive. It is the love in which Muslim men and women find the sweetness of faith: "There are three things that whoever attains them will find the sweetness of faith: if ALLAH (SWT) and HIS Messenger are dearer to him than anyone or anything else; if he loves a person solely for the sake of ALLAH (SWT); and if he would hate to return to kufr after ALLAH (SWT) has rescued him from it, as mu...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 19th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Friday 10th July, 2020). BEEN PATIENT DURING DIFFICULT TIMES IS ACTUALLY AN ACT OF WORSHI. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. If you have been sick and suffering, surely it is not easy. But again, know in your mind and believe in your heart that it is indeed better for you. For, if you bear patiently, it will be a means of expiation for your sins and a source of great reward. The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said: 'There is nothing that befalls a believer, not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allah will record one good deed for him and will remove one bad deed from him.' (By Imam Muslim). And: 'On the Day of Resurrection, when people who had suffered affliction are given their reward, those who were healthy will wish their skins had been cut to pieces with scissors when they were in the world (when they see the immense rewards for the afflictions they suffered).' (By ImamTirmidhi-Sahe...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 18th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Thursday 9th July, 2020). ATTRIBUTES OF BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE. BismilLah. Everything has its indications and signs. Indications that knowledge is beneficial are that it leads to fine character, good manners and praiseworthy attributes. In this regard it was said: "He whose knowledge doesn’t cause him to weep, can be justifiably considered not to have been granted beneficial knowledge, since ALLAH described the people of knowledge saying: Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration. And they say: "Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the Promise of our Lord must be fulfilled." And they fall down on their faces weeping and it adds to their humility.'"Al-Quran (17):107-109. Knowledge carries its possessor towards humility, prostration, crying, calling oneself to account and truthfulness with ALLAH. Indeed crying is t...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 17th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Wednesday 8th July, 2020). REALITIES OF THE GRAVE. Let's fear ALLAH and repent from our sins. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem Its important to remind each other that, if we don't mine going to Jannat or Paradise as such decide not to be bothered to obey ALLAH fully, we MUST then fear HIS PUNISHMENT from the time of death till Judgement day through our grave. The fear of ALLAH'S punishment alone must be enough reason to fully obey HIM. To openly disobey ALLAH by sinning such as fornication, stealing, gambling, riba based transactions etc, it means you don't want HIS Jannat and don't fear HIS punishment astaqfirulLah. Let's remember that, when son of Aadam dies and his soul departs and he is placed in his grave, then he is in the first stage of the hereafter, because the grave is the first of the stages of the hereafter. Even if you die through drowning or got burnt to ashes you will st...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 16th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Tuesday 7th July, 2020). THIS WORLD IS LIKE A SHADOW. BismilLah. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said;  And whoever makes the Dunya(this world) his concern, ALLAH will scatter his affairs, put poverty before him (as a trial) and nothing of the world will come to him except what ALLAH has written for him.” ALLAH says “Whoever makes the hereafter  his concern, ALLAH will gather together his affairs, place contentment in his heart and the world will come to him despite his reluctance.  [Reported by Ibn Maajah 3329]. Dunya (this world) is like a shadow. If you try to catch it, you will never be able to do so hattaa zurtumul Maqaabir, till we are buried in the grave. If you turn your back towards the shadows, it has no choice but to follow you. Prophet Issah(Jesus Christ) peace be upon him gave his people a very good advice when he is reported to have s...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 15th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Monday 6th July, 2020). SUFFERINGS MAY BE BLESSINGS FOR A SINFUL BELIEVER. BismilLah. Sufferings may be trials from ALLAH for HIS Good servants but maybe a good reminder for the sinful believer about the greatest affliction of life, i.e. death, which may afflict him at any moment. It reminds him of the severe punishments, which may follow next, as a result of his disobedience to ALLAH. When one deviates, he seldom pays any heed to the advice of others; but when calamity strikes, he is reminded of ALLAH and HIS severe punishments. ALLAH says,“HE will make them (those who disobey HIS rules or disbelief) taste a near torment before the greater punishment that perhaps they may return (to the right path).” [Suurah as-Sajdah 32:21]. Ibn Abbas said, "The near torment means diseases and problems in this world, and the things that happen to its people as a test from ALLAH to HIS servants so that they will re...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 14th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Sunday 5th July, 2020). GATES OF GOODNESS. BismilLah. Narrated by Mu'adh bin Jabal [radhi-yAllahu 'anhu]: The Prophet (ALLAH's Messenger ) said to him: "May I show you the gates of goodness? (They are): (1) Fasting act as a screen from Hell. (2) As-Sadaqah (deeds of charity in ALLAH'S Cause) extinguishes (removes) the sins as the water extinguishes the fire. (3) Standing in Salat (performing of prayers) by a person during the middle (or the last third) part of a night." Then Prophet (ﷺ) recited: "Their sides forsake their beds." (V.32:16) (Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi) (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi), Paradise becomes their final abode. May ALLAH keep guiding us all and aid us to implement what we learn. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 13th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Saturday 4th July, 2020). OFFERING OUR SALAAT ONTIME CONTINUES. BismilLah. Quran and Hadiths both greatly emphasize on offering salah on time. Everyone commits sins, however, ALLAH has provided, in prayer, a way to wipe out those sins. In Holy Quran ALLAH says: “And perform prayer… surely the good deeds remove the evils deeds.” (Quran 11:114). BUT it's not just about praying but praying on time as ALLAH says; “Woe to the worshippers who are unmindful of their prayer. Those who delay their prayer”.  (Quran 107:4-5). SubhaanAllah. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whoever keeps on performing Prayers (in its due time), it will be a light, a proof, and redemption for him on the Day of Judgment. Otherwise, he will be assembled with Pharaoh, Qarun Haman, and ‘Ubai Ibn Khalaf.” (Authenticated by Imam Ahmad).  In nutshell, we should pray on time instead of making lame excuses. Prayer is obligat...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 12th day of Dhul Qa'adah (Friday 3rd July, 2020). OFFERING OUR SALAAT ONTIME. BismilLah. We all know there are five pillars of Islam; Salah is one and most important Pillar of Islam after Shahaadah. When someone prays he is known to be Muslim because he is worshipping ALLAH Almighty who is his creator and the Lord of everything in this world and Hereafter too and whoever chooses not offer their 5 daily salaat has nullified his or her claim to be Muslim.
