DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 8th day of Sha'abaan (Wednesday 1st April, 2020). SHEITAN FEAR PURE HEARTS SO LET'S PURIFY OUR HEARTS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “When a believer sins there appears a black spot on his heart, and if he repents and asks pardon his heart is polished; but if he does more it increases till it covers his heart. “Obeying ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) revives and gives life to the heart, making it strong and firm. Obeying ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) cleans the dirt (rust) which is on the heart and makes it shine. Continuous obedience of ALLAH (subhana wa ta’ala) makes the heart clean, pure, luminous and as shiny as a mirror. Strange and amazing are the effects of this illumined heart. “When a Shaytaan like a jinn approaches a person with such a heart, the light of that heart hits the Shaytaan. When believers with such hearts cross the path of a Shaytaan and the Shaytaan is assa...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 7th day of Sha'abaan (Tuesday 31st of March, 2020). PRAISING OURSELVES IS HARAAM AND DANGEROUS ATTRIBUTE. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Praising one’s own self is a serious satanic influence to make us Proud of ourselves and become arrogance looking down upon others, and ALLAH (The most Perfect) forbade this; ALLAH says (what means): "So do not claim yourselves to be pure; HE is most knowing of who truly fears HIM" [Quran 53:32]. On the other hand, it means being proud of one’s good deeds. This is indeed contrary to the condition of the Prophets, righteous people, and the people of Paradise as they combined between doing good and fearing the punishment of ALLAH. One of our mothers Aa’ishah may ALLAH be please with her said: “I asked the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam about this verse in which ALLAH says (what means): "And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 6th day of Sha'abaan (Monday 30th of March, 2020). ZINA (FORNICATION) IS A MAJOR SIN AND SHAMEFUL ACT, STOP IT AND AVOID IT BEFORE RAMADAN. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem  Unfortunately, some are asking if they can use the support of their boy/girlfriends to fast. SubhaanAllah. The question is even invalid  let's fear ALLAH my dear brothers and sisters. Islam is a way of life that must go with the rules of the creator (ALLAH), If you are panicking and fear Coronavirus, why not the Creator?.  ALLAH, the Almighty God, commands in explicit and unequivocal words: "And come NOT NEAR unto ZINA. Lo! it is an abomination and an EVIL way" (Quran 17: 32). Thus, Islam does not only prohibit illicit sex (Zina), but also closes all the doors, avenues and means leading to it. This is achieved by prohibiting every step and means leading to stimulating desires, opening ways for illicit sexual relations between men and women, and promoting...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 5th day of Sha'abaan (Sunday 29th of March, 2020). ARE YOU READY FOR RAMADAN?. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Many of us are aware of the real nature of fasting in the month of Ramadaan, so we start to prepare from Sha’baan, and some of us even start before that. Among the best ways of preparing for the month of Ramadaan are: Sincere repentance; This is obligatory at all times, but because of the approach of a great and blessed month, it is even more important to hasten to repent from sins between you and your Lord, and between you and other people by giving them their rights, so that when the blessed month begins you may busy yourself with acts of worship with a clean heart and peace of mind. ALLAAH says: “And all of you beg ALLAAH to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful”[al-Noor 24:31]. It was narrated from al-Agharr ibn Yasaar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon h...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 4th day of Sha'abaan (Saturday 28th of March, 2020). ENVY AND HATRED ARE THE DESTROYERS OF OUR GOOD DEEDS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Envy (hasad) is a spiritual disease that is the root of numerous sins and it's worse than Coronavirus. It is incompatible with true faith and it has the capacity to nullifying a person’s good deeds. A Muslim cannot achieve a pure heart until it is emptied of all envy, hatred, and malice. The person who envies is, in reality, displeased with the way ALLAH has distributed HIS blessings. ALLAH says: Ų£َŁ… Or do they envy people for what ALLAH has given them of HIS bounty? Quran 4:54. Imam An-Nawawi wrote in one of his books that: الحسد Ł‡Łˆ ŲŖŁ…Ł†ŁŠ Ų²ŁˆŲ§Ł„ النعمة عن صاحبها سواؔ ŁƒŲ§Ł†ŲŖ نعمة ŲÆŁŠŁ† أو ŲÆŁ†ŁŠŲ§ Envy is the desire for someone who has a blessing to be deprived of it, whether it is a religious or worldly blessing.̣ The one who envies has bec...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 3rd day of Sha'abaan (FRIDAY 27th of March, 2020). ZAKAAT IS OBLIGATORY ON OUR WEALTH OR SAVINGS OF ANY KIND Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Zakaat is one of the Five pillars of islam. It is an obligation from ALLAH upon every Muslim who possesses the minimum amount of wealth given certain conditions. The type of wealth upon which zakat is obligatory are Monetary assets, Livestock, Agricultural produce, Merchandise. Zakaat [obligatory charity] on monetary Assets such as Gold, Silver and currency must be paid. On gold if it reaches the Nisaab [i.e. the minimum amount liable for Zakaah], which is 20 Mithqaal [a measure which equals 85 grams of pure gold, 1 Mithqaal = 4.25 grams], this means that one should pay ½ a Mithqaal as Zakaat, i.e., 2.5% of the value of gold. Zakaat must be paid on silver if it reaches the value of 200 Dirhams, which is the equivalent of 595 grams of pure silver; one should then pay five Dirhams as Zakaah, that is,...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 2nd day of Sha'abaan (Thursday 26th of March, 2020). THE BEST FORM OF INVESTMENT IN ISLAM. BismilLah. Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. Each of us is dreaming such big which also includes good beautiful wife, wealthy husband etc. But we are warned about this in The Qur’an where ALLAH says  *Alhaakumuttakaathur hatta zurtumulmaqaabir* “Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of ALLAH), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2). “Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and ALLAH has with HIM a great reward.” (64:15). Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts? ”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46). READ AGAIN PLEASE. Have yo...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 30th day of RAJAB (Wednesday 25th of March, 2020). DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE ARE A BLESSINGS FOR WE BELIEVERS. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. If life has been difficult for you and calamities after calamities befall you, hear the good news from the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam): 'Trials will continue to befall the believing men and women, with regard to themselves, their children and their wealth, until they meet ALLAH (Malik-al-Mulk, The Owner of All Sovereignty) with no sin on them.' (Tirmidhi). Subhaan Allah! No sin?! And what is it from this world that you wouldn't give up, just to meet ALLAH (Dhu-al-Jalaliwa-al-Ikram, The Lord of Majesty and Generosity) with no sin!! This narration indicates that, the difficulties we face due to our own disobedience to ALLAH (An-Nuur, The Light) is a means to expiate for our sins. That's why non Muslims sin but still enjoy because they have no share of paradise when they die. We are h...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 29th day of RAJAB (Tuesday 24th of March, 2020). SINCERE CHARITY (Sadaqah) is a GUARANTEE INVESTMENT and INCREASES WEALTH. BismilLaah. ALLAH, the Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "Who will loan to ALLAH a beautiful loan which ALLAH will double unto his/her credit and multiply it many times? 2:245. The above verse teaches us that by generously giving to the poor and needy, ALLAH will increase our wealth and blessings in this life, wipe out sins, increase rewards and provide shade on the Day of Judgment and more in shaa ALLAH. What more could we ask for? Money back, profit, good health, baraqah (blessings) in our wealth, shade on the Day of Judgement, sadaqah is definitely the best investment for our dunya and aakhira. Let's support expecially our relatives in need without  seeking any rewards from them or expecting them to reciprocate your kind gesture if you did it for ALLAH sake. MAY ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and th...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 28th day of RAJAB (Monday 23rd of March, 2020). OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH SUPERSEDE ANY CREATION. BismilLah. The Messenger to Mankind Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said in an authentic hadith that “there is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to The Creator (ALLAH). This short hadith basically means The right of The Creator takes precedence over the rights of the creation. So when any one from the creation enjoins on you to commit any act of disobedience, then obedience to them in that specific matter is actually disobedience to ALLAH, whereas disobedience to them in that specific matter is obedience to ALLAH. ALLAH (subhanahu wa ta’aala) says: …Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. Quran 5:2. May ALLAH (Azza Wa Jal, The Mighty and the Majestic) grant us the ability to obey HIM and protect us from any disobedience to HIS Rules. ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulAhad, 27th day of RAJAB (Sunday 22nd of March, 2020). SEEKING ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE. BismilLah. If you desire happiness, then seek out knowledge and apply the knowledge, and you will find that anxiety, depression, and grief will leave you." Let's avoid committing sins bcs sins only damage our relationship with ALLAH. Ibn Al-Qayyim ALLAH be pleased with him said "Sins remove the feeling of shame from a person so much so that the sinner finally doesn't care if people see him sinning or not." Open sins are worse than sins in hidden but note that fearing ALLAH in secrete is worth and more beloved to ALLAH. Let's strive to seek knowledge of our deen and apply it in our daily ways of life. With knowledge of been careful about disobedience of ALLAH we can only achieve success in life. May ALLAH protect us from any diseases. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 26th day of RAJAB (Saturday 21st of March, 2020). HOW TO TALK TO ALLAH DIRECTLY. BismilLah. ALLAH says in Quran 2:186: When MY servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning ME, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon ME. So let them respond to ME [by obedience] and believe in ME that they may be [rightly] guided. Allahu Akbar. ALLAH is talking to me and you directly that when we sincerely believe in HIM as our LORD and Obey HIS rules, then we have nothing to fear. Find the right times such as at night near fajir, well dressed, offer at least 2 rakaats and in your last sujuud, cry to ALLAH through any language. Continue this regularly and purify your income, obey parents, avoid committing various kinds of sins and be rest assured ALLAH is sufficient for HIS sincere Servants. May ALLAH keep guiding us all, aid us to stop committing sins and protect us from any satanic influences, May ALLAH protect us and o...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 25th day of RAJAB (Friday 20th of March, 2020). SALAAT ALAN NABI. BismilLah. ALLAH  says in Qur'an 33:56 Ų„ِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَŁ… ًŲ§ Indeed, ALLAH confers blessing upon the Prophet, and HIS ANGELS [ask HIM to do so too]. O you who have believed, ask ALLAH to confer blessing upon him and ask Allah to grant him peace. Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Laila: Ka'b bin 'Ujrah met me and said, "Shall I not give you a present I got from the Prophet (sallalLaahuAlaihiWasallam)?" 'Abdur-Rahman said, "Yes, give it to me." He said, "We asked ALLAH'S Messenger saying, 'O ALLAH'S Messenger! How should one ask ALLAH to send As-Salat upon you and the Ahl-al-Bait (the members of the family of the Prophet), for ALLAH has taught us how to greet you in the Qur'an?' He said, 'Say: Allahu...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 24th day of RAJAB (Thursday 19th of March, 2020). POSITIVE THINKING IN ISLAM. BismilLaah. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: وَŁ… Whoever believes in ALLAH and the Last Day, let him speak goodness or remain silent. Sometimes Satan will throw evil suggestions into our minds. These suggestions have no power over us unless we choose to act on them. If we follow an evil or negative train of thought, then it will lead us to a terrible end. Thus, when we find ourselves caught up in a bad line of thinking, we need to immediately replace these negative thoughts with positive inward statements to cancel their effects by reciting zikir or seeking protection from Allah saying AoozubilLah minash-sheitaanir rajeem. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: وَŲ£َŲŖْŲØِŲ¹ْ السَّيِّŲ¦َŲ©َ Ų§Ł„ْŲَŲ³َنَŲ©َ ŲŖَŁ…ْŲُهَŲ§ Fol...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 23rd day of RAJAB (Wednesday 18th of March, 2020). NOTHING CAN HARM YOU WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH. BismilLah. If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear ALLAH , their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, ALLAH is encompassing of what they do. [Qur'aan 3:120]. Even though this was a direct message to the Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam, it is directed towards anyone who put his trust in ALLAH. Act to please ALLAH and nothing can harm you. Do the right thing and rely on ALLAH for support and nothing can happen to you without the permission of ALLAH. May ALLAH aid us to act only to please HIM. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 22nd day of RAJAB (Tuesday 17th of March, 2020). THE POWER OF DUA AS WEAPON FOR BELIEVERS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. It’s amazing to see how great Dua really is. In a Hadith narrated by Abu Hurayrah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “In the court of ALLAH, there is no greater thing than Dua” (Ibn Majah). There are many benefits of making Dua including: 1. The loss of arrogance - For someone that makes constant Dua, arrogance is something that is not among their characteristics because when one beseeches ALLAH, he is affirming his own powerlessness. 2. The doors of mercy are opened, Abdullah bin Umar narrated that the Prophet said, “For whoever the door of Dua opened, for him the doors of mercy are opened.” (Tirmidhi). There are lots of dua to study and use regular such as; "Laailaaha illaa Anta, Astaqhfiruka Wa atuubu ilaik" Meaning There is none worthy of worship except You ALLAH, I seek your forgi...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 21st day of RAJAB (Monday 16th of March, 2020). THE TRUE MEANINGS OF THE WORD DEEN. BismilLah. We've been hearing the word DEEN in many times in our Islamic studies but do we truly know the complete meaning to these great word? Spare me some minutes to appreciate the greatness of our LORD OF THE UNIVERSE, ALLAH. Actually the word ‘deen’ has several  meanings. Arabic is a rich language to the extend that no single English word or phrase can do justice to one Arabic name or term. The first type of meaning is SOVEREIGNTY, POWER, LORDSHIP, KINGSHIP, or RULERSHIP. The second type is the opposite of this, i.e. SUBMISSION, OBEDIENCE, SERVICE or SLAVERY. The third type is to bring to account, to judge, or to dispense reward and punishment for actions. All those three uses are found in the Qur’an. ALLAH says: The only (true) Deen in the sight of ALLAH is (man’s) self-surrender (to HIM). (Aal `Imran 3:19). Here, deen is that way of life in wh...
Assalaamu Alaikum warahmatullah. DO NOT FEAR THE CORONAVIRUS. FEAR ALLAH AND OBEY HIM. Read through carefully please. BismilLah. The truth of the current matter is, our chances of dying as a result of the coronavirus is very, very slim. Not even up to 1%. But our chances of dying any moment from now and from any causes is 100% sure. Why then all this noise and the hyper sensational comments about the disease or the endemic? Why not fear ALLAH swt who can cause death or give life and you fear this tiny creature?, that may not even last for long on this earth? Coronavirus is deadly, but is it new thing for people to die from any disease? Be as a Muslim who knows how ALLAH swt does HIS work and how ALLAH swt send some signs to wake us up from our rudeness, arrogance and heedless life. ALLAH swt says in the Noble Quran: ( وَŁ…َŲ§ نُŲ±ۡŲ³ِŁ„ُ ŲØِٱلۡŲ£َيَŁ€ٰŲŖِ Ų„ِŁ„َّŲ§ ŲŖَŲ®ۡوِيفً۬Ų§ (ل٩) "And We sent not signs except to warn, and to make them afraid or scare them (of destruction or de...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 20th day of RAJAB (Sunday 15th of March, 2020). HANGING PHOTOS IN OUR HOMES. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. There are many hadiths which speaks against this hanging of our photos or any animated drawings on the walls, on the tables and on social media. Lets check the following ahadith from Bukhari: Vol 8, Book 73. Good Manners And Form (Al-Adab). Hadith 130.  Narrated by our mother 'Aaisha may ALLAH be pleased with her: The Prophet entered upon me while there was a curtain having pictures (of animals) in the house. His FACE GOT RED with anger, and then he got hold of the curtain and tore it into pieces. The Prophet said, "Such people as paint these pictures will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection."  Vol 3, Book 34. Sales And Trade. Hadith 318. Narrated by our mother again (Mother of the faithful believers) I bought a cushion with pictures on it. When ALLAH'S Apostle saw it, he kept standing at the do...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 19th day of RAJAB (Saturday 14th of March, 2020). DO WE REALLY APPLY IN OUR DAILY LIFE WHAT WE LEARN FROM ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGER? Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. We learnt so many things on daily basis but do not act on them unfortunately and this is due to satanic influences which we must declare war against. We have learnt that, if we say SINCERELY "Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdiHi Subhaanallahil Atheem" a hundred times, our sins would be forgiven, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea Yet, several days and nights go by us and yet, some do not do it. The time has come NOW, at this moment, We need to change our life styles and attitudes and make the best preparation we can for the DAY OF JUDGEMENT... (The day when a man would run away from his brother, from his mother, from his father, from his beloved wife, and even our own children Because every one would have more than enough problems of his own to worry about. So glad tid...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. YaumulJumuat, 18th day of RAJAB (Friday 13th of March, 2020). THE BLESSED DAY OF THE WEEK. BismilLah. Alhamdulillah for granting us another blessed day of the week. We ask ALLAH to keep guiding us and aid us to act only for HIS pleasure. Aameen. The virtues of this day include the following: On it is Salaat al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer), which is the best of prayer. ALLAAH says: “O you who believe (Muslims)! When the call is proclaimed for the Salaah (prayer) on Friday (Jumu‘ah prayer), come to the remembrance of ALLAH [Jumu‘ah religious talk (Khutbah) and Salaah (prayer)] and leave off business (and every other thing). That is better for you if you did but know!”[al-Jumu’ah 62:9]. This verse has clarify to us that we must stop all kind of activities on Friday to attend to khutbah sermon. Our beloved Messenger of ALLAH sallalLaahu Alaihi Wasallam also recommended, we should try to recite Suuratul Kahf on each Friday atleast, take ghusul(pure Islamic bath)...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Al-Khamis, 17th day of RAJAB (Thursday 12th of March, 2020). KNOWING ALLAH THROUGH HIS NAMES AND ATTRIBUTES . BismilLah. The first and most significant pillar of imaan (faith) in Islam is Belief in ALLAH. As Muslims, we believe in ALLAH in accordance with HIS beautiful names and attributes. ALLAH has revealed HIS names repeatedly in the Holy Quran primarily for us to understand who HE is. Learning and memorizing the names of ALLAH will help us to identify the correct way to believe in HIM. There is nothing more sacred and blessed than understanding the names of ALLAH and living by them. How do we expect to worship, love, fear and trust our Lord, The Almighty ALLAH, if we don’t know who HE is? ALLAH says in the Quran: And to ALLAH belong the best names, so invoke HIM by them.. (Quran 7:180). ALLAH, there is no deity except HIM. To HIM belong the best names. (Quran 20:8). HE is ALLAH, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to HIM belong the best na...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm ArbaĆ , 16th day of RAJAB (Wednesday 11th of March, 2020). SOME WAYS TO SEEK ALLAH'S SUPPORT IN WORSHIP. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Under any situation, ALLAH (SWT) remembrance gives peace and comfort. ALLAH (SWT) addresses the Prophet (sallalLaahuAlaihi Wasallam) as such in Aayah 97-99 of Surah Al-Hijr. “ALLAH is well aware that your heart is weighed down by what they (mushrikeen and kaafireen) say. Celebrate the glory of your Lord and be among those who bow down to HIM: Worship your Lord until what is certain comes to you.” Our beloved Prophet (sallalLaahuAlaihi Wasallam) advised us to make this supplication for seeking ALLAH’s help: “ALLAH humma a-innee alaa zikrika wa shukrika wa husni-ibaadatik”. Meaning "Yaa ALLAH help me in your remembrance, and in thanking You, and in the beauty (of perfection) in worshiping You. Aameen!
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm Ath-thalaatha, 15th day of RAJAB (Tuesday 10th of March, 2020). SEEKING ALLAH'S ASSISTANCE OR SUPPORT IN OUR WORSHIP. BismilLah Remember, for one’s act of worship to be accepted there are two conditions that need to be fulfilled: The action has to be correct (i.e. in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah) The action has to be done for sake of ALLAH alone. ALLAH said: “فَŁ…َن كَانَ يَŲ±ْŲ¬ُو Ł„ِŁ‚َŲ§Ų”َ Ų±َŲØِّهِ فَŁ„ْيَŲ¹ْŁ…َŁ„ْ Ų¹َŁ…َŁ„ًŲ§ ŲµَŲ§Ł„ِŲًŲ§ وَŁ„َŲ§ يُŲ“ْŲ±ِكْ ŲØِŲ¹ِŲØَŲ§ŲÆَŲ©ِ Ų±َŲØِّهِ Ų£َŲَŲÆًŲ§” “…Sowhoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone.” [Quran 18:110]. How do we do these? We need to keep in mind 2 important points: Just as we cannot breathe, see, feel, eat nor hear if it wasn’t for ALLAH’s assistance … we too cannot keep our intentions sincere for the sake of ALLAH if it wasn’t for HIS assistance. Never feel confident that you will die in a state of sincerity and belief. Rea...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawmul Ahad, 13th day of RAJAB (Sunday 8th of March, 2020). STAY AWAY FROM BAD FRIENDS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Many of our brothers and sisters start practicing the deen and decide wholeheartedly to progress on the straight path. Yet, shortly after, they find themselves retracting instead of progressing. In many cases, this goes back to either being alone and not having righteous companions, or having the wrong companions. Both cases are very dangerous on one’s spiritual development. So let us remember a few aspects. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings upon him) had Sahaaba (companions). He actually didn’t need them and if ALLAH willed, HE could have supported him with countless number of angels to aid him in whatever he needed as ALLAH did in the battle of Badr. But ALLAH made the sahaaba (companions) of the Prophet a significant part of this deen and this path. It is as though ALLAH Almighty is teaching us that this path NEEDS righteous compa...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yawm As-Sabt, 12th day of RAJAB (Saturday 7th of March, 2020). THE BEST FORM OF INVESTMENT IN ISLAM. BismilLah. ALLAH says; “O you who believe! Spend of the good things which you have (legally) earned, and of that which I have produced from the earth for you, and do not aim at that which is bad to spend from it, (though) you would not accept it save if you close your eyes and tolerate therein. And know that ALLAH is Rich (Free of all needs), and Worthy of all praise”[al-Baqarah 2:267]. Allahu Akbar. Qur'an contains amazing information for mankind indeed. Let's now hear what HIS Messenger Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam also said about charity or sadaqah; It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings (for ALLAH does not accept anything but that which is good), ALLAH will take it in ...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 11th day of RAJAB (FRIDAY 6th of March, 2020). HOW TO OFFER YOUR SALAAT WHEN SICK. BismilLah. Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah ruled that If a sick person is unable to pray standing, he should pray sitting; if he is unable to do that, then he should pray lying on his side. If he is not able to do that, then he should pray in whatever position he is able to. What is required is to do wudoo’ and cleanse himself of impurity; if he is unable to do wudoo’ and no one around to help him or her, he should do tayammum (“dry ablution”); if he is unable to do tayammum or to remove any impurity, he should pray as he is, because ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says (to the nearest meaning): “So fear ALLAH as much as YOU are ABLE” [at-Taghaabun 64:16]. Based on that, the prayer that you offer in such situation is valid, and you do not have to repeat it when you get well, because that was what you were able to do at that time. Alhamdulillah for blessing us...
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 10th day of RAJAB (Thursday 5th of March, 2020). SOME SERIOUS TRAPS OF SHEITAN. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. A serious trap of Sheitan to be careful about is Arousing Desires. ALLAH says; “Satan promises them and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.”Qur’an 4:120: Every human has desires and temptations. Satan plays on this and convinces man to indulge in instant gratification without considering the consequences. This inevitably leads to regret and humiliation. Another trap is Wasting Time: If Satan cannot trap someone into sinning, he keeps them busy with trivial acts which have no benefit. Instead of using our time wisely, fulfilling our priorities and reaching high goals, Satan occupies us with useless actions. Let's be aware and stay away from Satan's traps We ask ALLAH to protect us from Sheitan. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum ArbaĆ , 9th day of RAJAB (Wednesday 4th of March, 2020). LET'S AVOID COMPLAINTS OF ANY NATURE. BismilLaahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The believer is rewarded for every matter by gratitude and patience. For better for worse, just say AlhamdulilLah. Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I am amazed by the believer. If he is granted goodness, he praises ALLAH and is grateful. If he is afflicted with a calamity, he praises ALLAH and is patient. The believer is rewarded for every matter, even lifting a morsel of food to his wife’s mouth.” Musnad Ahmad 1495. Let's note that our worries does not resolve any issues we faces, we can only complain to ALLAH for help for whatever difficulties we faces. May ALLAH aid us to practice as the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam taught us. Aameen.
DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 7th day of RAJAB (Monday 2nd of March, 2020). RAMADAN APPROACHING Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Let's note that it is not right as a Muslim to delay your missed days of fasting from previous Ramadan till next Ramadhan unless with legitimate permissible reasons. Next Ramadhan is around 23rd April 2020 subject to moon sightings. We must strive to cover our missed days before next Ramadhan for our own good. Don't wait till next Ramadan then start asking questions for missed days. It is NOT permissible to feed the poor the days we couldn't fast in Ramadan except those who cannot fast permanently due to old age or perminent illness such as stomach cancer etc. If you fed still fast when you get well. May ALLAH keep guiding us and grant us the opportunity to be Part of the coming blessed Ramadan. Aameen.
