Swaheeh Muslim (804) narrated that Abu Umaamah al-Baahili said: I heard the Messenger of ALLAH (blessings and peace of ALLAH be upon him) say: “Recite the Qur’aan, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection interceding for its companions.” Just as the Qur’an will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection, it will also testify against those who went against it by neglecting it, ignoring its obligations and transgressing against the limits it set. For a husband or wife to form an illicit relationship with a non-mahram or non relative is not just cheating on his wife, it is a sin against his own soul and an act of disobedience towards his Lord. ALLAAH has forbidden such relationships and has barred the ways that may lead to the greater form of immorality which is zina (unlawful sexual relationships). The forbidden acts which people commit when they have such relationships are many and include being alone with that person (khulwah), shaking hands with them, looking at them, etc. These are sins which are forbidden in the texts in and of themselves, and because of the sin of zina to which they may lead. Brotherhood in Islam is a comprehensive concept that is based upon good character with others, treating others the way we want to be treated, and uniting together upon common values. It has three levels of degree: religion, family, and humanity. Each of these levels has a set of rights and duties that a Muslim must uphold with others. The strongest level of brotherhood is the sense of community, friendship, and common purpose in Islam for the sake of ALLAH. At this level, the believers work together towards fulfilling the goals of the religion and without living out its divine values. BismilLahir Rahmaanir Raheem ALLAH (The Most Great) says in Aayah 119 of Surah Taubah: “O Believers fear ALLAH and be with those who are truthful.” To fear ALLAH means to avoid sins at all cost and to make sincere repentance and seek forgiveness from ALLAH all the time.  Along with fearing ALLAH, this Aayah also commands to be with the people who are truthful, i.e., who always speak the truth, who at heart are truthful and whose actions reflect their belief in truth. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Lets conclude on this topic and note that Sin breeds sins until it dominates a person and he cannot escape from it. It gradually strengthens his will to commit sins and weakens his will to repent until there is no will in his heart to repent at all and keeps sinning even openly. In the Qur’an, ALLAH says that, good, evil and whatever happens in this world happens by HIS Will or . Only ALLAH knows fully HIS Will. We, finite beings cannot grasp fully HIS infinite Will and Wisdom. HE runs HIS universe the way HE deems fit. The Qur’an tells us that ALLAH is Wise and everything that ALLAH does is right, just, good and fair. We must submit and surrender to HIS Will. Intoxicants and gambling, worshipping stones and divination by arrows are impure, of shaytan's handiwork: refrain from such abomination that ye may prosper. "(Qur'an 5:90) In this verse, the total prohibition of alcoholic drinks and gambling/ betting etc has been clearly revealed. It's prohibition has been mentioned with such assurance that Imaam Razi rahmatullahi alaihe states as follows: "Firstly, the Arabic word 'innama' has been placed in the beginning of the verse. DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 7th day of Swafar (Sunday 6th October, 2019). How do we understand the meaning of Obedience to ALLAH and HIS Messenger?. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. Obedience has two definitions based on studies of Qur'aan and Teachings of the Prophet. One meaning of obedience to ALLAH is linguistic and the other technical. Linguistically, obedience means agreement and submission to comply with what someone in authority orders. These are rules of rulers but MUST not go against the orders of the Creator (ALLAH). Technically, obedience is abiding by the orders of ALLAH, the Creator, owner of anything that exists and avoiding HIS prohibitions. ALLAH is The Creator, The Commander.
