THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum at-thalaatha, 13th day of Muharram (Tuesday 1st Sept. 2020) ENJOINING GOOD AND FORBIDEN EVIL. BismilLah.  Enjoining good and forbidding evil is a very important topic worthy of attention, because welfare and salvation of the Ummah (nation based on one creed) lie in it; whereas, neglecting it causes great danger and corruption and disappearance of virtue and the spread of vice.  We Muslims, particularly at the present time, are in bad need to be active in the obligation of enjoining good and forbidding evil due to the prevalence of sins and forms of Shirk (associating others with ALLAH in HIS Divinity or worship) soothsaying, pride, arrogance, backbitting etc and Bid‘ahs (innovations in the religion) on earth. Let's not forget what ALLAH said that HE Will NOT help or change our bad condition till we change our bad ways of life. So we hold our own downfall, let's get up and change our own ways of life first then start talking to our family...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 12th day of Muharram (Monday 31st August 2020). WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QUR'AN AND KITAAB? WE KNOW ALLAH USES BOTH IN HIS MASSAGE FOR MANKIND AND JINN KIND. HOW DO THEY RELATE?. BismilLah.  This is a bit long but very beneficial knowledge so don't miss reading it.  Understanding the Words Kitaab and Qur'an which are two popular names ALLAH (As-Sabur, The Patient, The Timeless) uses for HIS BOOK.  Kitaab comes from the Arabic word Kataba which means to write and at the time of the Prophet sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam or olden days they write on stones, woods, leafs etc, so they couldn't edit or change what they've written on these olden materials so ALLAH (Ar-Rashid, The Guide, Infallible Teacher and Knower) using the word Kitaab has a profound reality or uniqueness of the QURAN which means Quran is something written down and no room for editing. We can't edit or change anything in the Qur'an. Even though ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 11th day of Muharram (Sunday 30th August 2020). REGULAR FASTING IS A SHIELD FOR OUR EEMAAN. BismilLah.  With the many temptations in our modern world, regularly fasting is the best means to protect us from any satanic influences. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may ALLAAH be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of ALLAAH be upon him) said: “Fasting does not just mean giving up food and drink, rather fasting means giving up idle speech and obscene conduct. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6057. This week is one of the best week to fast as it contains the 3 White days within Monday and Thursday so it's important to fast from Monday to Thursday in shaa ALLAH.  May ALLAH aid us in our efforts to be steadfast in our acts of worship and live a life of a true Muslim or Muslimah. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 10th day of Muharram (Saturday 29th August 2020). 3 CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE TO PARADISE. BismilLah.  The people of Paradise are of 3 types as mentioned in the verse below: “ALLAH gave the BOOK, the QURAN) for inheritance to such of Our slaves whom ALLAH chose Then of them are some who wrong their own selves, and of them are some who follow a middle course, and of them are some who are, by ALLAH'S Leave, foremost in good deeds. That (inheritance of the Quran), that is indeed a great grace.” (35:32).  Those who wrong themselves – They have mixed their righteous actions with their evil deeds. As ALLAAH says: “They have mixed a deed that was righteous with another that was evil” (9:102).  From them are those who will enter Jannah out of the Mercy of ALLAAH. Others will enter the Fire for a while and then ALLAAH will exit them from the Fire and enter them into Jannah by way of the Tawheed that they are upon. This is where righteous...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 9th day of Muharram (Friday 28th August 2020). ACTS THAT CAN EARN US PARADISE. BismilLah.  As Muslims we must always learn and implement actions that can earn us the Pleasure of ALLAH our CREATOR in return for HIS Paradise awaiting HIS sincere servants.  Some of the things that can get us closer to ALLAH are , fasting regularly, Obedience to ALLAH, HIS Messenger, Our Parents etc. following funeral procession of a Muslim, feeding poor people, visiting sick people regularly etc.  Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu 'anhu) reported, that ALLAH'S Messenger (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: “Who is fasting today?” Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) (again) said: Who has followed a funeral procession today? Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu 'anhu) said: I have. He (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam - the Holy Prophet) again said: Who amongst you has served food to the needy today Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-Khamis, 8th day of Muharram (Thursday 27th August 2020). FASTING FROM TODAY. BismilLah.  Alhamdulillah for blessing us with another day and my apologies for the delay in sharing a reminder with you. I would like to remind all about the virtues of fasting in Muharram which is very beneficial especially by stepping up our efforts to fast on Mondays, Thursdays and the 3 white days of 13th, 14th and 15th of each Islamic month. In this blessed month we are encouraged to fast on the 9th, 10th and 11th just to ensure we don't miss the day of Ashoorah in which we Muslims fast in commemorating the rescue of the people of Israel by Musah alaihi Salaam (Moses) from Pharaoh as recommended by the Prophet sallallahu Alaihi wasallam.  Imam Ahmad said: whoever wants to fast ‘Ashoora’ should fast on the ninth and the tenth, unless there is some uncertainty about the months, in which case he should fast for three days. Ibn Sireen said that. Al-Mughni, ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 7th day of Muharram (Wednesday 26th August 2020). LET'S FEAR THE DAY WE DIE. BismilLah.  ALLAH says in the Holy Quran: وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمًا تُرۡجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ  Fear the day when you shall be returned to ALLAH, then each soul shall be paid what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged. Al-Baqarah 2:281. ALLAHU AKBAR.  Whatever you do please pause and remember this verse.  Ibn Abbas may ALLAH be pleased with him said, "The last Ayah to be revealed from the Qur'an was the above. MAY ALLAH grant us a good ending and take our soul only when HE is pleased with us. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 6th day of Muharram (Tuesday 25th August 2020). HOW GOOD IS OUR EEMAAN? BismilLah.  Once a man asked the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), “What is Eeman (faith)?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: “When your good deeds make you happy and your bad deeds make you sad, you have Eeman.” [by Imam Ahmad]. If you sin freely without feeling back but rather enjoy sinning then note that you are a Muslim by name (WaeezubilLah, ALLAH forbid). Firstly, what is good and what is bad? Suppose you immigrate to a country. Aren’t you bound to follow the rules in place there? Those were rules decided by human beings like you, but you are required to submit to them. You don’t have the right to live by rules you design for yourself that conflict with the system. For instance, if you decide to drive on the wrong side of the road, because you think that’s how it should be, it would be a disaster and you may be jailed right?  When we...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 5th day of Muharram (Monday 24th August 2020). ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE LIFE JOURNEY? BismilLah.  This seems funny but serious matter to reflect upon. When we are leaving this world for the next one, it shall be like a trip to another country. Where details of that country won't be found in glamorous travel brochures but in the Holy Qura'an and the Authentic teachings of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Where our plane won't be any airline but land Janazah. Alhamdulillah, my country Ghana don't even have airlines so you better prepare to use land Janazah and leave politics alone.  Where our luggage won't be anything but our deeds no matter how heavy they weigh. Where our dress won't be a Pierre Cardin suit or the like but the white cotton shroud. Where our perfume won't be Channel, Paco Rabane, but the camphor and attar. Where our passport will only be Al Islam. Where our visa will only be "Laa Illah...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 4th day of Muharram (Sunday 23rd August 2020). THE GUIDANCE OF QUR'AN, SUNNAH AND OTHERS. BismilLah.  From Saheeh Muslim and other authentic sources of hadith, we've studied how the Prophet instructed his companions to handle affairs of this blessed ummah. In one of these instructions is a very important narration which all scholars agree upon to be authentic as follows; The Prophet sent Mu’adh ibn Jabal may ALLAH be pleased with him to Yemen in order to call the people to Islam and teach them the practices of the religion. There are a number of lessons we can learn from the instructions the Prophet gave to him. Ibn Abbas reported: When the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, sent Mu’adh to Yemen, he said to him: "Verily, you are coming to a people among the people of the Book, so call them to testify there is none worthy of worship but ALLAH and I am the Messenger of ALLAH. If they accept that, then teach them th...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 3rd day of Muharram (Saturday 22nd August 2020). ARRANGED and FORCED MARRIAGES in ISLAM. BismilLah.  Basically it is not permissible for the parents, guardian, whether he is the father or anyone else, to marry off anyone under his care without her consent, because the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “A previously-married woman has more right concerning herself than her guardian, and the permission of a virgin should be sought (regarding marriage)” Narrated by Imam Muslim, 1421. The Prophet (sallallahu Alaihi wasallam ) said: “No previously-married woman should be married off without being consulted, and no virgin should be married off without asking her permission.” The companions said: “O Messenger of ALLAAH, what is her permission?” He said: “If she remains silent.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4843.  Parents are encouraged to research into whoever wants to marry their daughter and support their daughter without objecti...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 2nd day of Muharram (Friday 21st August 2020). Jumuat (CONGREGATION PRAYER) IS HERE AGAIN WITH US ALHAMDULILLAH. BismilLah.  ALLAH The Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: "O believers, when the call is proclaimed for the prayer on Friday or when it's time for Jumuat, come to the remembrance of ALLAH and leave off business, that is better for you if you did know."Al-Quran 62:9. This verse clearly shows that anything we do even if halaal at jumuat time must be avoided bcs we are to leave everything and go to masjid to listen to khutbah and join jamaat for the salaat. Do not wait after khutbah then you rush to join the salaat. The khutbah is part of the salaat even if you don't understand the language just sit down and listen to gain it's rewards.  Sisters and mothers should be encouraged to go for  jumuat as well if the jumuat masjid is not far from them or there is no risk for them on their way. Aim to give charity eac...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 1st day of Muharram (Thursday 20th August 2020). IS THE WIFE ENTITLED TO A MONTHLY ALLOWANCE FROM THE HUSBAND?. BismilLah.  Scholars based on Qur'an and sunnah has explained that What the husband must do is spend on his wife on a reasonable basis, which includes the costs of accommodation, food, drink, clothing, and includes medical treatment and medicine etc.  With regard to food, drink and clothing, that is because ALLAH, may HE be exalted, says: “but the father of the child shall bear the cost of the mother’s food and clothing on a reasonable basis” [al-Baqarah 2:233]. And the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Their rights over you are that you should provide for them and clothe them on a reasonable basis.”Narrated by Muslim (1218).  Our wives are not our slaves, they are our companions on earth and in Paradise be-iznilLah (ALLAH willing). Even slaves had rights in Islam. We must treat them as ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 29th day of Zul Hijjah (Wednesday 19th August 2020). EARNING A LIVING, THE HALAAL WAY. BismilLah.  As Muslims, we must strive to work hard seeking ALLAH'S blessings in our income regardless of how little we earn. Earning very little is far better than earning more the haraam way. We must avoid investing our wealth into any haraam means such as buying shares with the interest base banks or companies who deals in haraam goods and services. Let's strive to invest our money the halaal way. You can find an established business who deals in halaal items so that you can agree to share the profit base on ratio of contribution.  You can find brothers and sisters who has handiwork to invest and expand their business with agreement to share profits especially with fellow Muslims. There are genuine people out there who need help to expand their business the halaal way, find them, invest your money with them and ALLAH will bless such investme...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 28th day of Zul Hijjah (Tuesday 18th August 2020). GOLDEN ADVISE. BismilLah.  It is an amazing advice by the great scholar, Ibn Al-Qayyim...please read: "A friend will not (literally) share your struggles, and a loved one cannot physically take away your pain, and a close one will not stay up the night on your behalf...so look after yourself, protect it, nurture it...and don't give life's events more than what they are really worth...Be certain that when you break,no one will heal you except you, and when you are defeated no one will give you victory except your determination...your ability to stand up again and carry on is your responsibility...Do not look for your self worth in the eyes of people; look for your worth from within your conscious...if your conscious is at peace then you will ascend high...and if you truly know yourself then what is said about you won't harm you.  Do not carry the worries of this life... ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 27th day of Zul Hijjah (Monday 17th August 2020. KILLING A HUMAN BEING UNJUSTLY IS FORBIDDEN.  BismilLah.  It is well known that the life of a human being especially a Muslim is sacred and must be safeguarded in all respects. Today we beat and kill someone with claim of been a thief etc. Astaqfirullah. Allow the law to deal with them don't be part of killing anyone even if yes he killed someone. Take him to the police.  Whoever unjustly kills a single believer on purpose will enter Hellfire and reside there forever. ALLAH says: Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell wherein he will abide eternally and ALLAH has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment. Surat An-Nisa 4:93. Similarly, the lives of all peaceful non-Muslims are protected and whoever kills one of them wrongfully will never enter Paradise. Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, pea...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 26th day of Zul Hijjah (Sunday 16th August 2020. FAMILY PLANNING IN ISLAM CONTINUES. BismilLah.  We've been studying on this topic the past 2 days. The questions and answers that can arise then are; Can a Couple Limit Their Children? Answer: During the time of the Prophet, some of his companions tried to reduce the chances of conception and pregnancy, because they did not want any more children. The Prophet was aware of that. Some referred to him while some relied on the fact that no edict was given concerning the question of preventing pregnancy. The general rule is that "everything is permissible unless pronounced otherwise. If the Prophet's companions had been doing something unacceptable to Islam, ALLAH would have either revealed a prohibition in the Qur'an or the Prophet would have given an order in a Hadith. The fact is that the Prophet did not give such an order. Instead, when he learned from one of his companions that ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-Sabt, 25th day of Zul Hijjah (Saturday 15th August 2020. FAMILY PLANNING IN ISLAM CONTINUES. BismilLah.  Some points to note on issue of family planning in Islam.   According to sharia research; · It is not allowed to enact a general law that limits the freedom of spouses in having children.  · It is forbidden to "permanently" end a man's or a woman's ability to produce children, such as by having a hysterectomy or vasectomy, as long as that is not called for by circumstances of necessity according to its Islamic framework. · It is permissible to control the timing of births with the intent of distancing the occurrences of pregnancy or to delay it for a specific amount of time, if there is some Shariah need for that in the opinion of the spouses, based on mutual consultation and agreement between them. However, this is conditioned by that not leading to any harm, by it being done by means that are approved in the Shari...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 24th day of Zul Hijjah (Friday 14th August 2020. FAMILY PLANNING IN ISLAM. BismilLah.  The institution of marriage and the want to have children was the custom of the best of creation, the PROPHETS and MESSENGERS chosen by ALLAH. ALLAH says about them "And indeed I sent messengers before you and made for them wives and offspring" (al-Raad 38) The best example for the believers is the example of the PROPHET MUHAMMAD sallallahu alaihi wasallam, who married and had children. These Prophets and Messengers are the people whom Muslims should look to emulate. ALLAH says "They are those whom ALLAH has guided. So follow their guidance" (al-Anaam 90).  Islam has forbidden celibacy (state of not being married), monasticism (life of monks & nuns) and castration (removal of the male glands) for such purposes. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam made this clear when he told those companions who were considering acetic forms of l...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum al-khamis, 23rd day of Zul Hijjah (Thursday 13th August 2020. RULINGS ON ABORTION. BismilLah.  First of all, let me remind all of us that we cannot obey ANYONE when it comes to any disobedience to ALLAH(Al-Wadud, The Loving, The Kind One). What I mean is if your husband or parents request you to do something which goes against ALLAH(Al-Hakeem, The Wise) and HIS MESSENGER, you must decline by reminding them about what ALLAH(Al-Mujib, The Responsive, The Answerer) and HIS Messenger said.  Scholars based on QUR'AN and Sunnah ruled on this topic as follows; 1. It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy at any stage unless there is a legitimate reason, and within very precise limits.   2. If the pregnancy is in the first stage, which is a period of forty days, and aborting it serves a legitimate purpose or will ward off harm, then it is permissible to abort it. But aborting it at this stage for fear of the difficulty of raising chil...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 22nd day of Zul Hijjah (Wednesday 12th August 2020.  QURAN IS THE ONLY MAP TO PARADISE. Bismillah.  ALLAH, The Almighty GOD says in HIS last and final Message to mankind, And those who disbelieve and deny the sayings of this Quran from ALLAH, those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally." (Quran 2:39). This is a serious verse and I hope ww study the Quran and follow it's teachings if indeed we want to enter Paradise.  May ALLAH keep guiding us all and protect us from any satanic ways. Aameen.
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 21st day of Zul Hijjah (Tuesday 11th August 2020.  OUR DAILY SUSTENANCE IS FROM ALLAH. Bismillah.  ALLAH says in the Quran: There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance depends on HIM: HE knows where it lives and where it rests: All is in a clear Record"……… Qur'an, Hud, 11: 6  "And the earth ALLAH have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. And Allah have provided therein means of subsistence, for you and for those for whose sustenance you are not responsible." [Hijr 15:19-20]. There are many of such Assurances and sayings from ALLAH in the Quran and teachings of the Prophet sallallahu Alaihi wasallam.  Practically if we obey ALLAH as HE deserves, then HE will always provide a means for our sustenance. Alhamdulillah HE has been doing this for us without doubt but because of our lack of appreciation and always compla...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 20th day of Zul Hijjah (Monday 10th August 2020). THE TRAPS OF SHEITAN.  BismilLaah.  The foundation of Islam is the belief in the Oneness of ALLAH, The Mighty God in English, having no partner, no equal, no son or rivals. The greatest sin is to ascribe partners or equals with ALLAH. Thus, tempting mankind into disbelief is Satan’s main focus. Satan has succeeded in making Many some non Muslims believe Eesah/JESUS Christ peace be upon him is part/son of ALLAH which is an act of blasphemy.  If Satan cannot mislead people to commit clear acts of disbelief, he resorts to more subtle means, such as the belief in superstitions, good luck charms, astrology and fortune telling. Such beliefs contradict the fact that ALLAH alone has power and knowledge over all things, and is the Only One Who can bring benefit or harm.  Second trap is Innovation in the Religion: “...I have perfected for you your religion...”Qur’an 5:3: Satan...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 19th day of Zul Hijjah (Sunday 9th August 2020). MANNERS OF ASSEMBLY AND GATHERING. BismilLaah.  Because Islam is a complete way of life, it has guidance for all aspects of life for those who chooses to follow the Qur'an and sunnah. If we don't learn from the Salaf books (predecessors after the Messenger of ALLAH, the companions and their students till date), we will end up following what our forefathers said which are mostly the sources of religious innovations as ALLAH and HIS Messenger warned us against in the Quran not to follow our forefathers footsteps unless those who were strict on following the sunnah. Among the complete ways of life are the etiquette or manners when we gather anywhere which Imam An-Nawawi records in his book Riyad us-Saliheen: Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not ask someone to give up his seat to another, but rather make it easy and provide accommodation. ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum As-sabt, 18th day of Zul Hijjah (Saturday 8th August 2020). BRIGHTNESS OF THE SOUL.  BismilLah.  The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The soul of a believer is bright and there is a bright lamp in it. The soul of an unbeliever is black and blind. The polish of the soul is the obedience of ALLAH. Sins are impurities on the soul. He who proceeds towards sins makes his or her soul dark. The successful in life are those who keep their souls bright, well-lit and polished. Such will be granted entrance to Jannah. [Quran: Surah Ash-Shuara, Ayat 89-90]. The recipe for keeping souls bright and polished are: 1. More Zikir (Quran Recitation and supplication to ALLAH with HIS beautiful attributes). 2. The obedience of ALLAH / The avoidance of sins with sincerity.  3. Keeping desires in check. Very Important. If you fancy anyone else in addition to your wife then marry her instead of adultrating. Etc. When you crumble and ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Jumuat, 17th day of Zul Hijjah (Friday 7th August 2020).  OFFERING SALUTATIONS [Salawaat] ON OUR BELOVED PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam), IT'S MERIT and EXCELLENCE. Bismillah.    PROPHETS and MESSENGERS have always served as a link between the Creator and the created. They were the only source of divine guidance for mankind. It is only through them that we recognize our CREATOR and are able to distinguish right from wrong and vice from virtue. Aayah 43 of Surah Al-Aa’raf tells us that the people favoured for Paradise while entering will say: “Praise be to ALLAH, Who guided us to this [Paradise]: had ALLAH not guided us, we would have never found the way…” And they will soon add: “without doubt the Messengers of our Lord brought the Truth.”   The status which has been given to our beloved Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) among all Prophets and Messengers is UNIQUE. He is superior most and excels all ...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Khamis, 16th day of Zul Hijjah (Thursday 6th August 2020). PATIENCE IN SEEKING ALLAH'S MERCY AND FORGIVENESS. Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem.  Allaah tells us, and reinforces it with an oath to be patient in all we do and also encourage fellow Muslims to be patient in all affairs they find themselves,  Allah says 1.“By Al‑‘Asr (the time). 2. Verily, man is in loss, 3. Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth [i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al‑Ma‘roof) which ALLAH has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al‑Munkar) which ALLAH has forbidden], and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in ALLAH’s Cause during preaching HIS religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad)” [al-‘Asr 103].  ALLAH is always with those who are patient. ALLAH did not say in the Quran H...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Arba'a, 15th day of Zul Hijjah (Wednesday 5th August 2020). HOW CAN WE FIND PEACE IN OUR HEARTS AND BE SATISFIED IN LIFE?. Bismillah.  As Muslims ALLAH has blessed us with so many ways to succeed in life and gain Jannat by HIS RAHMAH. Some of the means are: Increase dhikr (Remembrance of ALLAH ) as ALLAH says; "who have believed and whose heart have Rest in the remembrance of ALLAH. Verily in the remembrance of ALLAH, do hearts find rest." (Qur'an 13:28). That's by studying the Quran, applying in our way of life and praise ALLAH more through His beautiful attributes.  Increase in sunnah Salaat after perfection of fard Salaat. As ALLAH says; "O you who believe, seek help with steadfastness and prayer. Surely ALLAH is with those who are steadfast." (Qur'an 2:153). Asking forgiveness. ALLAH says; "And I have said: seek forgiveness from your Lord. Lo He was ever forgiving." (Qur'an 71:100) In addition to ab...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Ath-thalaatha, 14th day of Zul Hijjah (Tuesday 4th August 2020). THE EFFECTS OF SALAAT IN OUR LIFE. BismilLaah.  Today we have indeed come to treat the Prayer (Salah) as something insignificant in our lives. Very often we hear some says, "I will start praying when the time comes." Others, specially the younger Muslims, do not find much comfort, and joy in their Prayers. Due to our treatment of Prayer as a burden, due to lack of Islamic knowledge, weak eemaan etc, our love and passion for the Prayer has vanished. Our hearts have become hardened, and we have become a depressed and defeated people. As a result, many are searching for 'cures and remedies' to the distress in our lives, through any means available, but are unable to find any because they have ignored the greatest medicine *Salaah and zikir*!  The whole purpose of Salaah is to be ever conscious of ALLAH, the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Salaah is indeed, one of the m...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaum Al-Ithnayn, 13th day of Zul Hijjah (3rd August 2020).  FIRM BELIEF AND PERFECT RELIANCE ON ALLAH SHOULD BE OUR PRIORITY AS MUSLIMS. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.   ALLAH, the Exalted, says:  "The believers are only those who, when ALLAH is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts; and when HIS Verses (this Qur'an) are recited unto them, they (i.e., the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Creator(Alone)(8:2).   So as Muslims, Even in the worst circumstances one should always have faith and trust in ALLAH and recite the above verse and in shaa ALLAH nothing can touch us except if it's a test from ALLAH on our eemaan (faith) in HIM. Nothing  can happen to us without HIS permission so let's be mindful of ALLAH and fear None. There is nothing like "but" or "what about" etc when it comes to reliance in ALLAH.  We ask ALLAH to increase us in knowledge, wisdom and courage to be able to rely only...
THE DAILY ISLAMIC REMINDERS. Yaumul Ahad, 12th day of Zul Hijjah (2nd August 2020).  RE-DIRECT YOUR WAYS OF LIFE TOWARDS PARADISE. Bismillaah.  The Messenger of ALLAH (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Truly, whoever takes the Hereafter as his or her (primary) concern, ALLAH places his richness before his eyes (his heart feels content), gathers his inner self (so he is at peace with himself), and this worldly life comes to him with compliance. And whoever has this worldly life as his (main) concern, ALLAH makes his poverty appear imminent to him, disunites his inner self (so he feels disgruntled and unhappy) and he does not gain anything from this worldly life except what had been destined for him.” [BY Imam Tirmidhi]. Are you saving good deeds for your salvation or wasting your life on earth knowing you may be dead by end of today or tomorrow? Are you wiser than those who are buried in the graves that's why you are alive? How many times do you think of death a day? Do you t...
